Review Bangkok Alley - Collierville

Delicious and never disappointing. I like how their taste is similar to some Indian recipes with coconut flavor. I tried their naan. Of course, it's not really like naan but more like pita bread, but the chicken curry is impressive. Definitely a gold star Thai restaurant!

The 4 star is considering interior and ambience. It's actually 5 star for hospitality and good It's been a long time a waitress pleased me and feel good with over all experience. The first thing for customer satisfaction is understand the customer. Katherine did a great job there. The lovely part is waitress understanding what want and the chef understand the same made it. And I don't want to miss the little boy cleanings tables. He is so attentive and nice. He is not like "ohh it's not mine". I appreciate it. Thanks for the awesome dinner. I will see you soon!

Very nice location. They were very busy with a 30 minute wait. Unfortunately, around the door area, it's very busy and no where to wait while waiting for a table to become available. Location is small inside. Once seated, we were greeted quickly. After we ordered, or server didn't check in with us again. She only said something when she brought out the food, which took an extremely long time. Fortunately the meal was great. Everything was hot and made fresh. I will definitely be back.

Not just the best Thai food I’ve ever had but some of the best food I’ve ever had in general. Sushi is next level here. I have no problem paying more for the quality they offer. Food comes out fast generally and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Jenny is an excellent waitress and is always very personable to us. Zero complaints here and just cannot say enough about how much I enjoy every visit.

Great place for some Thai (or other Asian cuisine) I ended up getting the green curry and a sushi roll and both were excellent. Nice ambiance, good food and good beer!

Very nice atmosphere with pianist seeing the mood.. A perfect date night. The Thai tea, crab Rangoon and soups were delicious. I highly recommend the lobster tempura roll. The star of the night though were the drunk noodles with beef. We'll be back and try the lovely patio outside.

Very good food, great atmosphere. I only subtract a star because there has been a trend of missing food from pickup orders. Just double check that everything is there, and the staff are very helpful and quick to correct this.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the Memphis area (not many left from what I've seen). Their curry dishes are fresh and flavorful and the service is quick for dining in. The staff is friendly and the food is moderately priced. I definitely recommend one of the noodle dishes, but their rice curry is good as well.

Normally I would rate it 5 stars, but at lunch Friday I was not given the meal that I ordered and when I mentioned it my server pretended not to hear me and walked away. We ordered an appetizer and weren’t given plates to eat on. The entire meal was awkward and not up to it’s usual excellence.

There is not a time where we have dined at BA and not had an extraordinary meal. Service is as awesome as the food. We could literally eat there every night (and on a few occasions, came close!!)

Felt highly disrespected today. I go to this restaurant at least once a week, it’s convenient and always has good food with nice service, so me and my wife love this restaurant. But, today! A friend of mine Offered to treat me to some Thai food. Now mind you we spent $75 between both of us, he got the check as he was treating, but as soon as we were leaving we were rushed to by the manager Ms. Tania demanding a clarification for leaving a low tip! My embarrassed friend looked at me confused, now I know he should’ve tipped more than $2, but I was suprised that we actually got followed and challenged for tipping less. I think many Asian restaurants don’t understand, as much as waiters deserve the tip, it’s still courtesy! You cannot obligate a customer to tip unless pre mentioned in form of gratuity. Such behavior is just not respectable to retain a customer. I used to think Bangkok alley was better then regular Asian restaurant in service, but I guess not. As much I know my friend should’ve tipped better , but your behavior of running behind a customer is plain crappy, $75 in food I think you as the owner could’ve given 5 to take care of that certain situation. Nevertheless I did pull out about $11 and hand it to the lady to take care of the server, but I still feel you left a very bad taste on a very regular customer. Please remember you just made this one incident the main highlight for many potential customers. Was it really worth it??

Very good food and service! I just wished that the Lobster rolls that we ordered were plated into two separate plates for me and daughter. I really did not want to eat out of the same plate.
