Review Cajun Catfish Company - Collierville

While it does feel the waitresses move with a purpose. I enjoyed my experience, I think when you throw "cajun" in your name you set yourself up for high expectations. My dine-in plate was delightful (I avoid the fried option) my to-go order was underwhelming (2 pc catfish looked like nuggets) because the waitresses were so nice I decided not to post the pic. They have room for improvement

The food was okay I've had better I had to request fish shrimp to be fried hard kind of seem like a rush job but the cheese grits was really good

Food portions is good and quality is ok. Things started off on the wrong foot as we went here for the all you can eat crab legs on thursday.....to see the sign that says they are no longer offering it. So I had the all you can eat option with Catfish, chicken and shrimp.....after finishing it....i realised....there was no chicken....not a biggie......i had some more catfish which was good with the seafood sauce. The draft beer was below average and the server was friendly but inexperienced.

What a great place to get Crawfish, Gumbo, Catfish, Redfish, Tilapia and so on. Food was excellent. I ordered the Blackened Tilapia and wife ordered traditional fried Catfish. Both were excellent. Cole Slaw is good too. Great service for a Friday night and they were busy. Rustic cabin like feel inside. They have 2 fireplaces and a bar as well. Mixed crowd but very comfortable. Family friendly for sure.

My experience wasn't very good. Started off with a sticky table. The service was horrible. Waiter took 15 minutes to ask us for our drinks and got huffy when we were not able to use their QR code menu. The menu he did give us did not give enough information to actually order (sides and so forth). Food was okay overall but there were many unusual quirks. The fried green tomatoes were bland and the Cajun cabbage was merely boiled cabbage. The best thing that was served was the fries from the children's menu. Definitely not worth the time and money to grace this establishment again. EDIT UPDATE:I just got back from the doctor and found out that I now have food poisoning. Do not go to this restaurant!

Excellent food. I was sorry to see that they are discontinuing the all you can eat, but I understand. However, the regular items are more than enough. I never got much more than the first plate on the all you can eat anyway. We did the crab cakes as an appetizer. Very good. Nice flavor and good sauce. Wife did the 3 piece fish with the fries and green beans. The fillets were very nice size and well seasoned (cajun). I got the Basket with the shrimp, fish and chicken. Very good. I got the fries and on the waiter's suggestion, I tried the creamed spinach, which was excellent. I'll be getting that as a regular item on future visits. Not like any other spinach dish I've ever tried. Very satisfying. They are currently open Wed-Sun 4pm-8pm. They are doing social distancing in table settings and masks are required. So good food in a safe environment.

Appetizer - Shrimp Bang Bang tasted good but was missing the "bang" - just not spicy enough. Steak - ordered medium rare was medium well, tough and chewy Blackened fish was really good. Red beans and rice was possibly the worse tasting excuse for Cajun food ever. We probably won't be back.

This place is so good! I used to eat there years ago when they were off Sycamore View. I was devastated when they moved. I am so glad we found them again. Of course all of their dishes are amazing but the service is even better. Everyone is super friendly. My server was Tonya, one of the owners. She was so down to earth & encouraged me to say how I honestly felt about the Resturant because they can't improve on what they don't know. Professionalism at it's best! I'll definitely be back & bring my friends!

I'm not a fan of fish, so I ordered a vegetable plate and a side order of hush puppies. They were the worst hush puppies I have ever had. They had a weird flavor that I can't identify except to say sour. Most of the other food was good enough, and the service was wonderful. Great waitress. I hope they can get s better hush puppy recipe. I was shocked that a catfish restaurant didn't do better. I was with a group, and no one liked them. A few dogs ate them at home, but I don't want any more.

The food was awesome! I had the Bourbon steak with Mac N Cheese and I loved it! The steak was cooked to pefection (medium) and the sauce was great! Our waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy with the fireplace lit. Will be back again. Highly recommend. My sisters LOVED the crab cakes.

The veggies were pretty good, but the catfish was HORRIBLE!! The hushpuppies just tasted like burnt meal and the fish was unseasoned and just hard to even eat. Even the cajun catfish was horrible. Don't get me started on the service it was just as bad as the food. You better drink your drink slow because they dont give refills. Don't waste your time.

We stopped by to eat supper and let me tell you service was not good and the food was cold! We both got the combo pots with shrimp and crab leggs. The pots were half full of news paper wadded up and a hand full of cold tasteless shrimp along with very cold corn on the Cobb and a cold potato. The crab leggs were tasteful but for 26.99 per pot you think it would be warm. I would recommend everyone spend their money somewhere else.

Though pricey the others at the table enjoyed the Thursday all you can eat crab legs 😀👍🏻... The menu didn’t appeal to me but it would to most people.

First time ever there. The whole catfish was awesome. Mashed potatoes and fried okra were delicious. I’ll go back the next time I’m in Collierville.
