Review Donut Hutt - Collierville

After going to Walmart (donuts at 10 am), Kroger (I didn’t see any donut display case), and Sams (out on vacation) we made our way here. Wonderfully nice staff. They had one Bavarian upfront and said they could fill another two so I could get three total. But when I looked inside the box, one of the donuts looked all messed up. Almost like it had been dropped. I’m sure it wasn’t but it just looked that bad. You can see the photo with the cream oozing out and the chocolate all smeared up. It was one of the donuts on the top of the box. And closing the box wasn’t the issue as there was only a tad of cream stuck on the box top (see photo). Not sure why anyone would knowingly put a broken up donut like that into the box. Also the Bavarian filling was very minimal too in all 3 donuts. I was hoping it would just be one of them. But it wasn’t. I’d say it was about a teaspoon of cream. The cream oozing out of the broken one was about all there was in that donut. Really very minimal. I’m sorry. Some places really fill it up but the filling here was just at the front where the hole is. Donuts tasted good though. Very fresh. I really wanted this place to be fantastic. But that’s what we experienced and I’m just sharing our experience for others. It sounds like the owner really cares about their customers experience as they replied suggesting that we could have asked for a refund or replacement rather than leaving this honest review. That’s great to see. Not all owners do that. But what I really prefer is good service, the first time done right so I don’t have to complain. I hate doing that. It is really taxing and uncomfortable. It ruins the whole experience (and day). If you don’t mind taking the time and energy to do that, though, from the owners reply it sounds like they’d remedy it.

The almond joy Donut was the best. Prices were good service was great and the atmosphere was inviting. Would stop by here again when i'm back in town. And buy a dozen because the half dozen didnt make it back to GA. Actually not even to the Ms border lol!

Great local spot for donuts and kolaches. Service is fast and friendly. Everything seems really fresh and tastes great. The kolaches are always a hit for the family.

The donuts, fritters & kolaches from this place are simply delish! Even better... the owners are kind, generous & very community and people oriented. Collierville couldn't have a better donut shop represented in the community! BTW... the apple fritter I'm holding is 6 inches wide x 2 inches thick AND chock full of apples w/ribbons of sweetened cinnamon lacing thru the cakelike fritter! Absolute heaven if you don't like your fritter drowned in glaze.

Great looking and great tasting donuts. 🍩 Try the blueberry you will not be disappointed!!! Great owner with great staff!

Good Donuts for a great price, regular donuts 12 for $11, Fritters and such cost more, staff are fast and friendly.

Love their donuts and great selection...but ONLY IF YOU GO EARLY. I don't understand why their hours are til 11 am during the week and 12 pm on weekends, but if you show up past 930 then they are almost out of everything. This has happened to me numerous times. Today was a school holiday and I showed up at 10 am to an empty donut case :( Then we have to settle for Sam's donuts which we don't like as much.

The best tasting Donuts in town! They have a very big variety of different donuts to pick from. Plus all the regular donuts you are familiar with including Donut holes! Super friendly staff as well. The owner Rick, is also very nice and very helpful. These cupcake shops around town have nothing on the DONUT HUTT!

We enjoy donuts from Donut Hutt often and they're always yummy! We recently had the opportunity to see how the kitchen works on a field trip with our homeschool group and had a wonderful time. Rick and his staff were great! They kept the kids engaged, they learned a lot, and got some sweet treats to bring home, too. It was a super experience. Definitely recommend!

Donut hutt is our favorite place to get donuts! We also had my son’s fourth birthday party there and it was so great!! The owner is so energetic and the kids loved every minute!!

This is the nicest little place to carry your kids or just have a cup of coffee with your friend. And the donuts are fantastic too. I like supporting a locally owned business. Ask the owner his story. It will inspire you.

My son had his 6th birthday party today and I can't say enough good things about this place!!! I had about 10 boys and they were balls of energy but Rick was awesome with them! I think I enjoyed myself just as much (or more ) than the kids! Great place for kids parties!

Ordered donuts for a large group and it was a great experience from start to finish! The donuts were fabulous and service was top-notch!!

We decided to have my cousin's 4th birthday party here! Turned out to be the perfect place for a little chef and one that's addicted to sweets! Rick was very patient and kept the kids engaged. We ended up being short of kids however, adults and high school kids didn't mind participating. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Let's not forget the desserts, it seemed as if it was never ending from ice breakers to appetizers to the monstrous donut cake with donut holes. The birthday boy even had his own personal donut cake! We absolutely loved it and the fact no clean up! Thanks again Rick for making his birthday unforgettable!!

Best donut place around! The management is awesome and greatly supports the community and those in need. And of course, the donuts are delish!!!
