Great service. Everyone was super nice. Kinda crowded and the wait was kinda long but everyone that worked there made sure we were ok. Food came out after a normal wait. I had the down home which is normal chicken and waffles. Didn't come with enough syrup but was brought extra. Ordered scrambled eggs but it came out with bacon. I didn't mind that at all. Overall everything was great. Just wish it was closer to me.

We got to the Waffle Iron right before it opened on my hubby’s Birthday (party of two, just him and me). We were the second folks in line. Small wait to get seated in an empty restaurant (ok, I thought maybe the just need to get warmed up) but, after 1.5 hrs after ordering to get our food... really! Were they chasing the chicken to lay the eggs for my scrambled eggs? Then I was disappointed with the lack luster waffle. I mean, if you are going to name a place THE WAFFLE IRON that waffle better be mastered... it fell short! We won’t be back... service yucky and ok food that took ages to receive.

Pretty disappointing. It took about 50-55 minutes to get food and the waffle was just plain bland. The eggs, hash browns, and bacon were great! Service was mostly non-existent as well.

I went with my family yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had a party of 10 and the wait was truly ridiculous. Then we ordered our food and drinks at the same time and it took about 25 minutes to get the drinks and then they started bringing out the food in pieces to everyone. Not to mention we had water spilled on two of our guest while the lady was passing out the drinks. The food was cold and bland. The service truly truly sucked, and the guest who had the drink spilled on them was pretty much overlooked. I can always get over the wait at a restaurant especially when you have a nice size party, I just can’t get over poor service and cold food.

My wife and I have been here numerous times, but I'm not certain if we will come back. The food has always been excellent and if you have absolutely no where to be and don't mind a staff that moves at a glacial pace, I highly recommend this establishment. The service was excellent when they first opened, but the faces have changed since then and they are now extremely slow. The past few times we have come in we have stood for over ten minutes waiting to be seated. Plenty of open tables and people standing around with seemingly nothing to do, yet they can't seem to seat us. Once seated, forget about your drinks being refilled and you better get everything you need on the first go, because you are unlikely to see anyone for quite some time. Again, the food here is great, but the service has fallen to a disappointing level.

Nice place, clean. Just opened so they have a few kinks to work out. They need more help, people would leave because it was taking too long to be seated. Muffins to go looked good but the were uncovered. Bottom line, food was good, menu selection was good. Give them a few months and they should be good to go.

My husband and I had our first visit to the Waffle Iron today. We were seated immediately, everyone we encountered was friendly, our food came out quickly, and was prepared perfectly. I had the sweet potato pancakes and he had the Southwestern chicken and waffle. We were both impressed by not only the food, but also the service. We will definitely be back!
