Without question, this is the greatest breakfast place I’ve ever eaten at... anywhere! Rudy’s green chili over any burrito is a spiritual experience! If I ever left Colorado Springs, I would miss Rudy’s breakfast above all!

I’ve been coming here for 15 years since they were over off Nevada Ave, and everytime I’m back in town I have to come in for breakfast several times. The staff are like family and always come out to say hi, and the food is as good as the first time I ever ate there. The green chili huevos ranchero with green chili is my go to...

This place is a gem! Yesterday was the 1st time trying it and we will definitely be back. Best breakfast in the Springs. The prices are amazing! Hard to believe the quality and quantity of food for what you pay! This is our new spot!

Green Chile is really good, it's got body and it's not gravy(el taco rey, western omelette), right amount of spice and heat.

Been here a few times now, the food is muy bueno and the staff are very friendly. The only criticism I could mention is all of the pictures are crooked and it was driving my OCD buddy Kyle crazy 🤣

This is the best Mexican food I've had since I've lived in Colorado! I have been searching for 3 years to find something like this! I'm from San Diego, CA, so I feel like I have at least some credibility on the subject ;) The Mexican omelette is perfect with refried beans and tortillas, and the enchiladas are amazing. So is anything covered in their green sauce! This is by far the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the Springs. Also, Rudy and his staff are super sweet and helpful!

WOW! We sat on the patio for an afternoon que fantastico lunch meal on the open air porch, and it was amazing. Exceptional food, exceptional customer service, and really the full meal deal at a great price. Homemade chips too! The Chimichanga was amazing. 5 Thumbs Up to Rudy's staff.

Grabbed some lunch before my doctor appointments. Chris and I both enjoyed the Fajita Trio dinners. The homemade salsa was delicious.

What a great experience! We decided to have breakfast at Rudy's because there were so many cars parked in their parking lot. Am I glad we did. We were seated right away, even though the place was busy. The menu offered traditional American breakfast options, but they also have traditional Mexican breakfast choices. The breakfast tacos were delicious, but the best part of the whole experience was our server Omar aka Speedy Gonzales. He was hilarious!! This guy could put anyone in a good mood. We will go back, maybe for lunch next time!

I’ve been coming here for 10 years now and the breakfast has been spot on and the service top notch every single time. Not many places have a track record like that. If you want a Mexican breakfast spot this really can’t be beat. If you want a good breakfast period stay away from the chains that are over priced with poor service. Instead come to Rudy’s. Bonus they open at 7am! Bonus: need to brush up on your conversational Spanish? The staff welcomes it with open arms. Not uncommon to see Gringos and Mexcians alike chattting away in Spanish with the staff. It’s quite endearing and just adds to the experience. Check it out.

The food was incredible. There were so many options, it was hard to choose. Rudy's had a great mix of Mexican style or country style breakfast choices from chorizo breakfast burritos to biscuits and gravy. I had to go with the chorizo and it did not disappoint! Great flavor, big portions, and great prices. We did notice how busy it was so the service was a tiny bit slow, but well worth it. And omg the view on the patio was incredible.

View from the patio is beautiful. Food was very good, hot, and well portioned. The 2 add-on pepper dishes were delicious! I will be returning.

Very underrated TexMex food in Colorado Springs! Basket of churros was a steal, breakfast was great and so were the tamales! Will definitely come back when we visit Colorado Springs again.

The food was well prepared and tasted great. I got the fajitas. Prices were reasonable for the food which was a rare find. The service was lacking and required a lot of reminding to refill drinks. I think there was a language barrier on ordering as well. Overall the food would bring me back but hopefully it was a fluke on service and the waitress was just having an off day.

This is right off 8th by motor city. I have eaten here a couple of times and always find the food very good for breakfast or lunch. Love the homemade tortillas chips and overall an amazing value at lunch.

Rudy's Little Hideaway was a pleasant surprise. I went in not knowing what to expect. I didn't even know what type of food they served! The layout and environment is fun an interesting. Great for both intimate dates and large gatherings. Service and staff were very prompt, nice, and friendly. They have a great selection of authentic Mexican food and drinks. I had the Carne Asada Burrito with green chili and sour cream. It came with rice and beans. They give you complementary tortilla chips with a pretty spicy salsa. With a water, price came to around $16.00. Not bad. Restrooms were spacious, clean, functioning, and properly stocked. My wife was mad I went alone without her! 😅 I'll definitely bring her next time. Great place. I recommend a try!

Always the best breakfast in town! Large, tasty portions no matter what you order! I go here with friends and all of us get different meals and everyone is always happy with the quality of their food. Highly recommend!

I stopped by a few weeks to test the green chili as it has been so highly rated here and in other venues. If you are a fan of authentic, home made green chili then you will definitely find something in this place that you really like. However, I found the rest of the Mexican fare to be good and enjoyable but it lacked the zest and excitement that would prompt me to give a great rating. The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly and prompt. The patio service area is large and is a nice place to enjoy the wonderful spring and summer weather that can be experienced in the Colorado highlands.
