Tucanos is a great and very unique style of restaurant that I think has something for everyone. The salad bar is huge and amazing, the drink menu is also great, but the meats completely steal the show. Out of the at least 20 different types they came out with all of them were absolutely delicious. If you're looking to for a very unique and unforgettable meal then tucanos is for you.
This was my first Brazilian steakhouse experience. It was amazing! The meat selections were all delicious and came at a very fast rate. My favorites being the top sirloin, mango fish and honey glazed chicken thighs. The salad festival was great as well with a wide selection of soups, salads and pastas. The variety of food offered here was a little overwhelming where you want to try it all but physically can’t. The full churrasco was $30.95 which is well worth the price. If you signup for the rewards program you will receive a free giant chocolate decadent cake. The staff are all super friendly and quick at answering calls. Atmosphere is super lively. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to try a lower budget Brazilian steakhouse and have a few hours to spend here.
Tucanos' service and atmosphere was wonderful. I was throughly impressed with the customer service. Some of the foods on the salad bar were sitting for quite a while or needed restocked and tended to. Not impressed with the cold pasta salads but I really enjoyed the hot side of the salad bar and the actual salad part of the bar.
Specifically, the mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables were phenomenal.
There are numerous selections of food products at this restaurant. The meats from the passing servers were for the most part great. Some of the Wings and Brisket could use some work as they were quite dry.
Intend on coming back to this location in the future.

The food was good and fresh. We went for the 2nd Monday special and were charged full price. When I asked our waitress, she said that's the lunch price. I said well when I made the reservation, it clearly said dinner she asked to see it.. and said we have to mention the discount for the discount price
Love this restaurant. Great atmosphere, amazing food, friendly employees, and super clean. Wonderful for date night or for family dinner. The grilled pineapple and chicken hearts are my absolute favorite. You definitely won't regret eating here.
Melt in your mouth goodness and a fun dining experience! There is a buffet of salad, pasta salads, soups, and sides plus the servers bring around a variety of really tasty meat for you to choose from.
My husband and I love this place! Whether it’s your first time or you go there often, you can be assured you will have an amazing experience if you go there to eat.
The tables and space are clean. The service is excellent. And the food. Hands down everything was amazing!
id say this is a pretty good restaurant if you haven’t tried a brazilian restaurant before. the food was good, their rolls could use a little more moist , it’s kinda dry. the meats they brought out were delicious. very good , and very friendly staff. definitely recommend this place if you’re in town.
Step into a loud, fun, and exciting atmosphere!!!! When we first walked in, we were a bit shocked with how loud it was, but soon after hearing everyone around, and the excitement in the dishes, we loved it!!! We came at a very busy time, but had reservations, even though they had a wait, our reservations were ready right on time.
As for the serving staff, I was super nervous after reading some reviews, I should have never listened to them! Our waiter was OUTSTANDING, he explained how it all works here, and was so welcoming. You order some drinks, and then go to the salad bar where there is PLENTY of choice. Then you have a table sign you flip to green when you're ready to try some of the meats that rotate, from steak, to fish, to chicken, and several other things! It was so much fun, but our tummies are angry with how much we forced ourselves to eat.

This was my first time and the food was excellent! The staff was awesome. We had a great time trying all the food. The meats brought to the table were delicious my personal favs was the roasted pineapple 🍍 yummy. This is a family atmosphere that delivers. The staff was quick even though there was a packed house. The sounds of enjoyment were everywhere. If you get a chance check it out! Thank you all because I needed a good night with the fam.
Had our rehearsal dinner here this past weekend and it was great! Nothing super fancy which was what we were going for. Everyone left full and happy. The meats are the best part but the salad bar was pretty good too.
Haven't been here in awhile but plan to go again soon. But I am going to refer to past experiences to write this review. It is a good place to get a food coma. The meats offered are tasty and they also have grilled pineapple which I thought I would enjoy but I don't, which sucks. Let me tell you though, if you don't know your food limit this place will test it. Every time I come here, I barely leave the parking lot when I'm done. I feel choked and chunky. The staff have been very good and the customer service is top notch. Overall, it is an enjoyable but very expensive place. Expect to spend $40-60 per person. Oh yeah and get their Brazilian lemonade! It is amazing!
The quality of food here is good and always consistent. We got the mango butter cake this time. The cake was warm and rich with a generous topping of smooth mango ice cream with pieces of dice mango and a cream sauce drizzled over the whole thing. 10/10. Also tried the guava Brazilian lemonade.... new favorite.
This is a fun interactive experience you'll want to share with family and friends. The food is mouth watering delicious 😋 and the service is excellent. Every time I've been there the manager has come to the table to ask us how our meal was. Just spent my 51st birthday there and had a blast!
Food is excellent! It's worth the price and you will be full beyond your capacity. Service is good, but sometimes you have to flag the waiters down instead of them noticing the signal, and it can take some time to get seated even with a reservation. No big deal, but stops the 5th star. Overall, it's an absolute treat to eat here.
Where else can you go and spend $21 (weekday lunch special) to stuff yourself silly on a fantastic salad bar and an amazing selection of grilled and cooked meats? This is really the only place in Colorado Springs. It's a heck of a deal and it's really tasty.
I've been to other Brazilian grills in Denver (Fogo de Chao and Rodizio Drill). Yes Fogo de Chao is on the high end for a Brazilian grill so the quality of some of the meats is better. That said you're going to spend more than twice as much for some meat that's only 20% better. The service at Tucanos was also fantastic.
The restaurant looks to be clean and the salad bar is fresh. My only nit gripe is the restaurant is pretty worn with some of the chairs pretty beat up along with some other areas around the restaurant. But for the price they're charging along with the quality of the food I can't deduct a star for that!

Tucanos is a nice Churrascaria that blends with rodizio style service where the meat servers will bring the variuos cuts of meats in skewers to your table.
MEATS- After rotating and grilled under the flame, the natural flavor of the meats, succulent texture, and the flavor of the seasoning literally erupted in my mouth. The other food from the self-service spread is equally delightful.
HIGHLIGHTS- I have never tasted grilled chicken hearts that feel like gourmet food. With a little flair and food appreciation, you can easily make up a 4-course meal yourself by carefully selecting and plating the food.
SERVICE- The overall service was good, and our waitress, Ry, was attentive and knew what she was doing. I can't ask for more for such a fine eatery in our town. The churascas are an important part of the experience and I recon the fast pace nature of the service, but if the meat servers (gauchos) will not only introduce to diners what kind of meat when being asked, but take just take 2 more steps explaining what part of the animal, and what uniqueness and flavor to expect, it will truly make it above and beyond.
