One of the best places to eat in Colorado Springs. You can see and taste the the freshness and handmade in the food. Very classy interior. Service was perfect. I love going here and would recommend it to everyone I know.
Cheddar's is a place that I've visited often during lunch breaks since it's right by work. So I can say I've probably tried their entire lunch menu. There isn't a single item on the menu that I didn't like, and that's a hard feat. My favourites would be the burgers & the catfish fillets. Even the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the food & the ambiance.
I've been a fan of Cheddar's for years in other states. I've been to this location a few times a while back and let one slightly bad experience stop me from visiting. Some of the fried catfish was undercooked and the manager acted like he didn't believe me and then reluctantly agreed to adjust our check. My wife and I decided to give them another try for lunch and we were not disappointed. We had the mountain of onion rings appetizer and chose two items from several salads, soup, baked potato, and half-sandwiches listed as a lunch special. Service was perfect and the food was great. They are now back on the list of favored restaurants to visit.
Wow.... really great food at a resonable price?!.... We stumbled upon this place and I have to say- it's one of the best meals I've had in the past year at restaurants anywhere! Great service and the food was fresh, hot and fast! Tried the hand breaded chicken tender meal- very crispy and good. Warm, sweet buttery home made croissants?!... YES please! The best croissant I've had in a very long time! Hubby had shrimp, and my son had the grilled chicken... very good! Broccoli and cheddar casserole was great, and a $2.95 happy hour margarita! We were too full to try their dessert, but will definitely be back! We went on a Thursday night around 4:30 and it wasn't crowded at all, and Im not sure I can picture the place with a night club feel as some reviewers said...
This place has come a long way in the last years and a half. Swore I wouldn't eat here any longer and then had to for a work event. It was really good. And the servise was excellent. I'm told the apple pie is not to be missed.
We always enjoy Cheddars. The service is fast and very thorough and the food is always great and very filling. I always go back for the lemon pepper catfish...seasoned and cooked perfectly and so much fish (2 huge filets). Side salad for $.99 is large and delicious ( we love the croissant that comes with salad...warm, flaky and drizzled with warm honey butter). Everything we have had there has been very tasty. Ribs fall off the bone, shrimp (8) are quite large and lightly batter fried to perfection. Last night we were served by Justin. Amazing waiter and will ask for him in the future. If you go at the right time (weeknights and early) you will definitely enjoy your experience at Cheddars!
Good food, cheap.. Went after the dinner rsh on a Friday night. Good service, very good prices, food was fine - nothing spectacular, but certainly your money's worth. Good for a family meal or as a date night spot.
Awesome homemade food. I have eaten at Cheddar's several times to mixed results. The food is consistently very tasty and usually arrives within a decent amount of time. However, the service is good when there is not a rush. I have been in and out for lunch within 18-20 min. Dinner rush (5:15 - 7:30) tells a different story. The portions are very big (looking at you @Tiny Portions, try the monte cristo) and the prices are very reasonable. Once the service improves, I can see Cheddar's doing very well.
Pleasantly surprised. There's always a long wait to get seated whenever a new restaurant opens up. My husband and I waited about 25 minutes before we were seated at a table. I had the beer battered shrimp while my husband had the chicken tenders with baby back ribs. Ribs were very tender, and the batter on the chicken tenders were moist and not too crunchy. My shrimp was excellent also. The large pieces were quite satisfying. We loved everything and are excited to come back again.
Had lunch here. Service was great, and the food was excellent. I had the Cajun Pasta and the portion was huge. Will repeat.
The chicken fried chicken is giant and awesome in every way. The mashed potatoes and gravy are delicious. The broccoli and cheese is good. The chicken fried steak is tender and well flavored. Stephanie was our waitress and was friendly and really good at bringing hot food and drinks and refills. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back.
This place is always consistent in their food and their service! My wife had the grilled chicken alfredo and I had the chicken tenders both of our meals were excellent! Nice and hot and tasted wonderful. Definitely a place we will visit again and again!
Haven’t been here in years, went on a random Wednesday night around 445pm. Servers were great but didn’t come around often, but definitely enough and were pleasant. Food was great, family loved everything we got. Chicken tenders were HUGE and perfectly breaded and crisp. Chips and queso and side of salsa were simple but wonderful. Sides were good and price was more than adequate. Will 100% return.
My wife, adult special needs daughter and I visited this restaurant for supper last night for the first time. The location was very convenient off Interquest Parkway & I-25, the outside of the restaurant was nicely decorated, as was the inside of the restaurant, we were seated right away in a comfortable booth at 6:00pm, were greeted as we entered, our order was taken promptly after we sat down, our server (Brooke) was friendly, patient & professional, the dining room & restroom were clean & neat, our food was served hot in 20-25 minutes (a bit slow in my opinion), the prices were a click less expensive than Applebee's, music was playing, and I don't know if they had free Wi-Fi.
The food and the waiter and the restaurants I have no complaints. High praises, everything was amazing.
The stand-alone exterior building and the aesthetic interior design alone made Cheddars' Scratch Kitchen price per pax seem very reasonable. This establishment is located at the busiest tourist and commercial area, so there's always a wait to be seated.
They serve traditional and modern American fare. We have been here a few times, but today was the first time we tried their honey butter croissants, and they were "snacktacular!" The food was good, but it is not where someone expects a gastronomic experience.
The restaurant has a waiting area, bar, main dining, and functional section. There's guests wifi, clean restrooms, staff wear uniform and just everything as they should be. Our server today, Nicole, was very relaxed and helpful.
My Tastebuds have never felt more of a sensation than cheddars has provided me in my entire 14 and a half years of age. My whole church went they enjoyed the experience just as much and even more then I did. The waiter filled up my mothers sprite with water, but she apologized. What a nice gal. The fettuccini Alfredo really opened my eyes to the noodle cuisine. Overall great job cheddars 11/10.
I have never had a bad meal here! Mostly lunch events, but the foodbhas been hot, tasty, reasonably priced, and quick.
Honestly, though, it's the service that makes this a return spot for me. Everyone is friendly, courteous, and helpful. It's in a convenient spot with respect to the interstate, shopping, movies, and lots ofnother food options.
Atmosphere and service are what make restaurants something you think about and plan to return to. Even the greatest food lacks staying power if the service is lousy. Good pick!

Those fans! The last time I saw them was in Greece! A comfortable place to dine in. Their chicken pot pie is a must try. I was bowled over with their onion rings! Super crispy! Good selection of local beers!
