Solid place to eat and I would return. Queso is very good but pricy. Excellent Service.
We had excellent food & service tonight. Having never been before & going on a Friday evening we weren't expecting amazing. We should have, personally the whole experience was great.

Good staff. Acceptable Mexican food. Great ambiance. I visited this place twice in a week. I liked the staff. Very nice outside seating area. I thought food was also good. I had carne asada one night and mole chkn enchiladas the other. Both were good. Good for bringing large parties. Looked family friendly. Both nights I was alone and say at the bar for my dinner. Servers were very attentive.
This was a great experience. The food was great and the service was also. I was a little worried that it would be pricy when I first walked in but I was pleasantly surprised. The fried ice cream was the best I have had in a long time.
Carlos Miguels is a great neighborhood restaurant! The salsa, beans, and tortilla chips are delicious. I always order the ceviche and eat it with tortilla chips rather than the crackers they provide and it's so great! Also they have a nice selection of tequilas and their margaritas are pretty good :)
Amazing Location. My family and I always love coming to Carlos Miguels. It is in a great part of the Springs. Nice atmosphere, great outdoor area, and more than that, simply amazing food! The honey-mustard burrito is awesome, the pork carnitas are probably my favorite, and the carne asada steak fajitas are tender and juicy. To top it all of, they don't mind if you take up a whole table for the evening just hanging out playing Phase 10 with your friends. Great place to spend an evening!

You wouldn't expect much from this place by looking at the outside, but don't let that stop you!. Carlos and Miguel's is another one of those "I can't find it" buildings buried in a generic shopping complex off of Cheyenne Rd. Chopsticks is in this same complex (see other review) and honestly, if you're not looking for it, you're not going to find it.
So I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The decor is very very classy. I was almost afraid it was going to be too expensive. The walls and paintings were very authentic feeling and the tablecloths as well as flatware had a very posh feel to it. The menu was substantial, yet our party of 20 people all found something to like.
I personally got the chicken molle. When I go to a Mexican Place that wins me over by the menu selection, I will usually judge it on this difficult Mexican Dish. The chicken was chopped, but it didn't matter much, because the Molle sauce was outstanding. You could tell it was their own special take on this classic recipe, and it delivered. The sides were very tasty as well. The salsa and chips were first rate of course, and the wait staff was very helpful and friendly. This was unusual for a large party, because they're normally a servers worst fear.
Overall, the menu was a tad pricey, but I promise you the quality and taste was worth it.
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. My work collegues and I eat here at least once a week. The prompt service, menu selection and food are all excellent. This place rocks... help keep it a secret, because it has been getting packed in there lately!
Tell everyone you know. I have visited Carlos Miguels about five times now and I am certain that it is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Colorado Springs. The service is attentative and professional. The preparations are very well done and very good. My up bringing was in South East Los Angeles and the food there IS Mexican, CM competes quite well with even gente fair. Try the Pollo con Mole, excellent. The rellanos are top draw as well. Can't go wrong, oh, if you don't like "spicy" try Taco Bell.
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere sum up this hidden gem of a restaurant! My family and I have been here three times now and have enjoyed it every time. Love the beans on the table with chips and salsa.
Second time eating here and I’ve got to say it’s pretty damn good! I was happy to see they had
Christmas set up. As far as the dining experience,
It was nice. Food was hot and fresh. Cheese was melty and the family absolutely loved it. Nachos were on point!! I personally had enchiladas and didn’t really love them but the rest of the food was good. Server was a bit odd but handled us with respect and made sure to keep our cups full. We will definitely be back.
Came in for a Sunday lunch. I love this spot. Unfortunately, the patio was closed due to possible thunderstorms, but it is nice to hang out outside. The chamoy margarita as well as the guava margarita are great. Highly recommend them
The service was excellent! We were seated right away and were checked on frequently. Everyone was very friendly. Food & drinks were decent, what you can expect from this type of restaurant.
I've gone here twice now and I so far I have really enjoyed their food!
The most recent visit our service was kind of slow considering our server was also the bartender, so it took a minute for the bartender to come and get our order on top of making everyone's drinks.
Although I enjoy Miguel's, I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5 due to it being very pricey for Mexian food. We ordered Guac and Queso to go with our chips, and those two alone are 30 dollars ($14 or $15 for each!). They don't charge for chips and salsa, which is great!
For 2 adults and a child, our meal plus a Margarita came up to $100 and some change.
If you are looking to splurge on some good Mexican food, then this is the place!
Hands down, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I like the setting of the E Cheyenne Mtn Blvd location, esp the view from the patio. My favorites even for dinner are these two appetizers: Quesadilla Colorado or Fajita Nachos. Other dinner meals that I enjoy include: Pollo Poblano, Taquiza Zapopan, Barbacoa Plate, Fajitas, and Enchiladas Mexicanas. Just a side note, depending on when you read this review, the prices on the online menu haven't been updated with the current prices, but still worth every penny! The portions are very generous.
First time visiting Miguel’s Bar & Grill and WOW this place is so good!!! I wish we had one back in Texas! The salsa and guacamole were incredible, and the chicken tacos were phenomenal. Service was amazing! It’s a must try if you’re in Colorado Springs!
Came here with my family and ate here. Wow I was not expecting such amazing food. We all got something different and everything was amazing the sever Edgar was amazing and really had outstanding customer service. Something I have not seen in quite awhile. I will definitely be back here.
Stopped in for a quick bite and so glad I did. The food is awesome. Nice atmosphere and my waiter was very polite and friendly. Food was truly a cut above. Highly recommend.
Nice ambience cool decor food was super good excellent quality and seasonings friendly staff / service they suggest explain about the drinks and the tacos 🌮 are quite a great portion for 3 presentation super nice. It was my first time there and loved it. SoPapilas for dessert with cinnamon and sugar are the best
My boyfriend and I love this place. We've been many times and have always had great service and amazing food. The Carnitas is one of our favorites.
While I prefer this location, I've also been to the location on 8th street and it had the same great food.
Each time we try a different Mexican restaurant we always end up saying we wish we would have just went to Miguel's.
Quality food, good portion sizes, quick service and fair prices. We never leave disappointed.
We tend to eat a little earlier than most, but have never had to wait for a table even on a Friday or Saturday evening.
Hopefully one of these days we wont fill up too much on the chips and salsa and leave some room for dessert.
Best resturant I went to in my week in Colorado Springs.
I cant believe how incredibly great value this place is with the quality of the food.
The food was awesome, the Margarita was big and beautiful.
But most of all the service was incredible. The staff were super friendly, very helpful for newbie at a mexican place in the US.
This is a must visit if in town.
I had the sopes here. Not gonna lie, they were comparable to my mom's ... The guac was great the salsas were amazing... Really all of it. But the fact that I reminded me of my mom's cooking definitely won me over. And will make this my go to place when I'm missing home.
Good food. Little misunderstanding with my order but they fixed it pretty quick. Juan was our waiter.
I thought this would be another fancy trying to be Mexican place but it was a fancy delicious Mexican dining experience! I loved the shrimp cocktail, the fajita platters, and the drink were delicious!!
You definitely get your money worth. However, the poor waitress was all alone handling so many tables- get her some help please!! The food was good.
This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at. Not only are portions exceptionally generous, but the food is fantastic. The queso is the best I have ever had, and the Big Bertha Burrito was phenomenal. The saddest part of the meal was when my pants became more snug because of all the delicious food I had consumed.
