During my fall break trip to Colorado Springs, we dined at “Mirch Masala,” an Indian restaurant located at 5047 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
The atmosphere was delightful, adorned with captivating artwork that showcased various elements from India, including sports, famous places, and more.
The cuisine was exceptional, easily deserving a 4 out of 5-star rating. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable.
Additionally, the restroom facilities were impeccably maintained, enhancing the overall experience.
I also had the privilege of obtaining consent from one of the staff members, whom I believe to be the owner, to capture some memorable photographs.
The food and service was just ok, nothing good and nothing too bad. They don't have many choices in the buffet and I was super sad they didn't have any samosas. The chicken was good, but the sauces were so liquid..I'm not sure about it.
I would definitely try other places before coming back here.
The food was good. No complaints. However, the interior reminds me of a morgue. It's so dark and gloomy. The whole vibe was terrible. I don't want to eat dinner in a funeral home.
This is my all-time favorite Indian place in the Springs! The service is always phenomenal and the food never disappoints. The cheese naan with the Chicken Tikka is the ultimate comfort food. So delicious!
It was an amazing experience at Mirch Masala. I love Indian food and this place has awesome collection of authentic Indian food. The owner or the manager was super friendly and helpful since I asked him a few questions about the food. So far, this place is the best Indian food provider in Colorado Springs.
Small buffet but good quality and price! Updates need for better atmosphere!!
The Chicken Tikka Masala and the chai were GREAT! We enjoyed the papadum however the chutney seemed to be watered down. We enjoy eating here whenever we are in town. The manager/owner(?) is friendly and helpful. The wait staff who served us could use more basic training. Overall, try Mirch Masala out for yourself. Note: we didn't try out their buffet.
Great place to eat with the family in town! Delicious food, expectable and consistent spice levels, and good portion sizes!
Friendly staff ; enjoyed dinning in for dinner. Chicken pakora; naan ; basmati rice along with Bhindi ( okra ) Masala was a true delight to the palate. Indeed the Bhindi Masala was one of the best I ever tasted. Owner is from Nepal, seems to be a very dedicated professional working towards keeping his customers happy. Good place to try Indian food if you are in the area.
Everything was outstanding except the hyderabadi dum biryani.. it's not hyderabadi dum biryani.. it was okay biryani.. also they didn't have kulfi unfortunately.. but overall it was satisfactory.. first class service.
Very authentic Nepali taste with wide variety of foods and desserts. Friendly staffs and clean environment. I recommend this place to everyone who are around.
I love coming to eat the lunch buffet with my family. They change up the menu too which is always nice to try new things. Better priced than some other places in town. Yummy!
