I wish I could remember our barista's name. She was great! So friendly and very competent. Coffee was great. Would have loved to stay a while. The ambiance inside was lovely, but had to run. Still worth a positive review.
I got a café mocha. Coffee prices are moderate and dairy alternatives cost $0.95. My drink was a bit on the bitter side but they offer sugar and splenda to help with that. I was a bit disappointed with how much foam there was, though I expect some foam, there was a good inch of it, which seems a tad excessive for me. I recommend if you want ALL the beverage you pay for to request your drink without foam. The woman who helped me was willing to answer my questions but a bit pushy in a way that made me feel unwelcome. I was told they have gluten free foods but they sold out for the day, this may indeed be the case but I arrived in the early morning and with how not crowded they were I felt uneasy about that answer. There are only a few places to sit and even those seem to struggle for space. I did not feel welcome and was glad to drink my coffee in my car. On a positive note, the caffeine is very potent and I felt it's effects for many hours.
On our way to Colorado Springs national park we stopped at Mission Coffee Roasters and loved it. The place was quite busy (10:40am) , the staff was friendly and their coffee was wonderful. I took the honey lavender latte with oat milk. Their gluten free options were limited though.
Perfect little coffee shop, the ladies working there are so nice, kind and helpful. We came here for the first time using the Crafts and Drafts passport and we can't wait to come back! The price are affordable and my mocha latte was the best one I've ever had.
Super recommended!!
The primary judge of any coffee shop should be the quality of its brew. And on this point, Mission does very very well. I had to pour over and it was expertly prepared and very good. In fact, the entire experience was A+. Staff was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The seating area had ample plug-ins, comfortable places for work or to relax and it was a good overall atmosphere. The views out the picture window of the Rocky Mountains was beautiful. I would definitely recommend and hope to return.
Who doesn't love delicious coffee? Especially when buying it helps support a fantastic local establishment with a great cause. Mission Coffee always has a great selection of drinks and pastries and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. The location is out of the way to get to but it's worth it!
I love coffee! And I love a good coffee.
I’ve gone to Mission Coffee Roasters several times and was extremely pleased with each visit! Personnel was incredibly friendly and helpful with their menu options! They have precautions in place in case you want to stay in the shop to enjoy your coffee during the pandemic. It’s not only about coffee but about the snacks too! You can find multiple different scones to try and burritos as well. Last time I got a chocolate raspberry scone, wish I got two! Tables are far enough from each other so you can comfortably enjoy your coffee.
Great coffee and great service! Nice area to sit and relax. Staff also very friendly. Will definitely return. Updated review... i originally awarded 5 stars, just downgraded to 4.
As we sat enjoying reading and our coffee, one employee started vacuuming the sitting area. Earlier, another employee was walking around taking down Xmas decorations. There was still over an prior to closing. While I appreciate a clean area, I also appreciate a business doing that when no customers are present. I will still return as I think this is a very nice place.
Always great, friendly service and very tasty coffee and pastries. Not huge but I always manage to find a seat.
The coffee house is a great local place. They sell some of the best coffees and teas in Colorado Springs,CO.
Their food is amazing, too.
It is a cozy place. It is always clean. The sevice is always good. The teas is always hot and hits the spot.
I also love how this place gives back to their community and does brag about it.
It you are looking for a good local coffee house with great coffee. Stop here and bag a bag of coffee as a gift, too.
Good drip coffee and good view of the mountains. They roast coffee there and they also have a small but delicious selection of treats including breakfast burrito, meat pasty, cinnamon roll, and protein bars.
I love local coffee roasters and had to stop and try it. The americano was very good, flavorful. My wife had a hot chocolate and it was ok, I know this is a coffee shop so I didn't doing too much on the rating for a hot chocolate, it but it definitely was not the best we have tried. Also tried a snack bar that is made there and it was very good. Will be trying the whole bean roast next. Nice atmosphere inside, feels like a nice place to visit for a while.
Absolutely love Mission Coffee! Atmosphere is relaxing and very friendly baristas.
I am giving 5 stars for their cappuccino, large size @$4.55. I just got back to coffee while recovering from Dengue Shock syndrome. Apparently coffee is good for my liver according to Mr Goggle. Stay blessed!
People who are passionate about coffee and also donate some proceeds to charitable causes this is a good place to go. Located strangely in a small industrial business park, the inside can easily fill up and you will have no seating and there's nowhere to sit outside. Other than that this is a solid place to go.
While I wish they opened earlier in the morning, they’re vanilla latte with oat milk is delicious:)
One of my all time favorites in the sorings! The staff is always friendly and warm, the ambience cozy. I love the smell of the roasting they do onsite and the view from all of the beautiful walls of windows is wonderful. Great place to host a gathering or meeting upstairs and the incredibly knowledgeable owner, Brent, can educated you on anything and everything coffee!
