We had eggs Benedict its a favorite at I hop they make it so very well. Would have liked a bit more sauce , we did ask for extra and got maybe a teaspoon extra, but still very good. It always tastes better when I don't have to cook it.

On my way home from the hospital this evening from work, I was thinking how wonderful it would be to have a delicious breakfast and I hadn't been in IHOP for quite a while, so I went on over to the IHOP at Chelton and Platte here in Colorado Springs, sat down and enjoyed some French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage and hash Browns served up by my very cool server Andrew and enjoyed a pleasant 45 minutes of quiet breakfast, soon after midnight! IHOP STILL ROCKS when it comes to breakfast... really, really, GOOD food, fresh tasting, served nice and hot and with Andrew's congenial manner and upbeat attitude, I couldn't have had a better morning to start the Saturday! Thanks much IHOP..Bruce D from Colorado Springs.

This was one of the best dining out experiences I have had in a very long while. I have been to many IHOPs, and I love them, but I don’t tend to expect too much. This was better than any five star restaurant experience. The service was impeccable, the restaurant was clean, the food was hot and came very quickly, and was exactly what I wanted. If you were in Colorado Springs, you need to go to this particular IHOP. It is the best ever.

Clean and well run. Food quality and presentation was perfect. It had a hometown atmosphere. Our server Jr. H was polite, personable and efficient. We are from out of town and he was helpful with local questions we had regarding area services. Highly recommend.

I have had terrible experiences at multiple IHOPS in my home state of Oklahoma but this one was different. The food was a classic American breakfast and was nothing crazy but it delivered! As a tourist we were unfamiliar with the area but our waitress helped us out a little and was kind and sweet. The manager came out after we ate and introduced himself with a nice and welcoming handshake and was nice all around. He told us he was trying to get the best IHOP in Colorado Springs and although I haven’t eaten at the others this experience was the best I have had at a IHOP.

Quiet location at 6am on Sunday morning. Servers are very nice. Food is good and prices have increased due to inflation.

Decent IHOP, the food was good..the pancakes are really cakey but still good. If you ask they give you the strawberry, blueberry and pecan syrup. Their system was down when we went so they were accepting only cash or keeping a copy of your card. The place was just ok, it could be a lot cleaner and nicer but whatever it's just an IHOP.

This place has awesome food. But what impresses me the most was how the General Manager was not hesitating to help her staff with a busy rush. She was cleaning tables, sweeping floors and just really putting in 100% effort to make thisnplace rum smoothly. And it definitely shows. The only thing I didn't like was the price of my bill at the end.

Friendly, helpful waitress, she was a wonderful lady! She took the orders without writing anything down (impressive) but honestly has nothing to do with review. She was patient and gave me wonderful recommendations, even let me try a sample when I still didn't know what I wanted. Inside was clean. Employees seemed to get along with each other (a plus with me because it shows in the service and food when everyone is getting along) as the environment was cool and collected and everyone was working together. The food was delicious and exactly what we ordered. Cheers to the cook!! I will come back to this location because of the honesty, friendliness, great service, and tasty food. The only thing negative I can say (and it has nothing to do with the employees but with the customers) we saw two customers leave without giving a tip.

Drove by and saw this old school IHOP building a few months ago. Finally tried it. Restaurant architecture today is bland and generic. I'm happy that this classic gem was preserved. Our server, Benjamin, was an absolute Joy. Some of the best service I've ever had. The cooks have been there for a very long time, and it shows. The omelette tasted like it did 20 years ago. Thick and fluffy. I was in the mood for chicken tenders, and they were delicious as well. We'll definitely be back!

There was only one person working so the service was slow. The man helping us was gruff at first, but when I told him I was sorry he was having a bad day. He apologized. I was there with my husband and my disabled brother. He only gave us 2 menus at first. When I asked for a third menu, I let him know that my brother should be seen as a person also. What I appreciate most was his willingness to adjust and change as he received feedback. That makes all the difference. He engaged my brother in a conversation. Fabulous.

This IHOP reminds me of a North Dallas IHOP. Clean, Comfortable, Active, Ready Service, and Quality IHOP Food. I have visited many IHOPs across 10 or more states. Does this qualify my review? NO, it qualifies a comparison. The Citadel Mall IHOP is smaller and thusly, more personal. The Kitchen and Server Stations are centrally located, integrated into the dining area/lobby. If waitresses (and cooks) want to get away from customers; they'll have to go outside. The roof is north-western style, high pitch, peak to ground. This is the quintessential (my word of the day) IHOP style before they started building high-occupancy restaurants. Breakfast is an intimate event. It requires more service than some meals. Coffee, creamer, sugar, syrup, honey, toast, butter, breads, muffins, more coffee, water, etc. Waiters and waitresses need to be close or there needs to be more of them. Breakfast is paced to move and a smaller footprint means better service can be provided. The price point at IHOP suggests that staff is not abundant, smaller locations are were to find improved IHOP experiences. That's why I prefer smaller locations in high traffic areas. This IHOP is close to Academy by a bus exchange terminal at Citadel Mall. When I return to this location, I will add photos. The lunchtime customer base appears to be mother's with babies, young children and their mothers, mother-in-laws, families, couples, etc. The dusty crowd that you might want to avoid gathers at a different location. 😎

Great food and very quick. We visited after the dinner rush when the dining room was pretty empty. Our food was made as ordered and service was very quick and friendly. Clean restrooms and clean dining room.
