I came because of the owner’s hilarious responses to one star reviews and found my new favorite sushi restaurant in Colorado Springs. I spent 4 years in Japan so I’m a bit of a sushi snob. This place is absolutely 💯 first class. Super fresh fish (overheard the sushiChef saying they FEDEX fresh fish from Hawaii!) the tempura nigiri’s and sashimi were our faves ! After many recommendations here, and else where, we finally landed on Dozo Sushi.
RUN DONT WALK!! Its been almost a year since I've had sushi as it never felt "safe". Until now. They have gf eel sauce and gf soy sauce, . And if youre not huge on fish they have other gf choices as well. Our waitress
Dined in on a Friday night, we were a party of 6. The place got very busy around this time. Everyone enjoyed their food which was beautifully presented, our server was friendly and efficient. Definitely will return.

I hesitate to write this because this place is already busy enough, however they deserve the praise. The service and food are already above the bar but the presentation is beyond any I have experienced before. You absolutely are in for a treat not only taste wise but visually. I do recommend calling

Surprisingly excellent sushi, great presentation and overly generous slices of fish, slices double the size of my regular sushi restaurant in Florida. A great variety of fish as well with excellent service. As soon as we sat down had miso soup and water on the table.
I have never mixed fresh fruit with sushi 😍😍 atmosphere is up to date with holidays, friendly staff! Come to eat and oh yeah don’t forget to try some peach sparkling sake ♥️♥️😌
