The sushi is delicious, the ramen is top notch, and the desserts are to die for. Service is also very fast and friendly. My only issue with the place is that it is pretty small, so once it starts gaining popularity there will most definently be a wait whenever you go. It's absolutely worth it though.

Super friendly and fast service! We ordered the salt and pepper calamari, takoyaki, takatsu ramen, and poke bowl. Poke bowl was super refreshing, ramen was perfect for the cold weather loved the noodles i normally do eat super spicy so the spicy did have a kick to it! Salt and pepper calamari was delicious as well!! All of it was good period!!!!
We drove across town based on the reviews and this place did not disappoint. Our helpful waiter explained the menu and the service was great. The food was incredible! The ramen was perfect and the sushi was really good as were our appetizers. We will definitely be going back.

My fourth time here and amazing! Best sushi in town...so fresh and the rice on the rolls so thin. Tuna on Fire is my favorite and the Tempura Jalapeno Poppers. Had the Tonkatsu Ramen wirh Karagee Chicken and asked for it spicy last time and it was amazing. Service is quick and the staff so nice. I have been to almost all of COS sushi places and this is hands down the best!
I've been several times since they opened. They're right in our neighborhood and always friendly. The server even remembered me from a previous visit. Will certainly be back!

Amazing food and magnificent service! We had the seafood ramen and the seafood was perfectly cooked and flavorful. If you like spicy the fire on fire is a two thumbs up! We will be back for sure.

If you haven't been to Osae yet, you need to go right now. Every single thing I've had off the menu has been absolutely wonderful. The service is always great and the price is unbeatable for how much delicious food you get.
Been here twice, and I'm hooked. I've had their sushi, poke, and ramen. Haven't had something that wasn't tasty as all heck. Good atmosphere and awesome food. From now on I'm gonna be stuffing my face with delicious and nutritious noodles. Also, they play some great anime openings in the restaurant lol.

The food is absolutely 💯 . 10 out of 10. The waiters very friendly. He also gave us free chefs 👨🍳 orders of the day. Tofu deep fire 🔥 with onion 🌰. Overall clean 👌 nice and organized. Will be back next time in town. If you live, here you need to ✔️ yourself.
Would give 5 stars but, it's a little pricey. The green tea cheesecake was really good but very very small. The food was good as well and they have LOTS of options for cooked sushi, uncooked, & non sushi menu items. I enjoyed how much variety they have. If you don't love sushi, there are sooo many other options for you, which is really nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be returning and trying something different but if you're only going for sushi, it is a bit on the high end price wise in my opinion.
Also we went around lunchtime on a Monday and because it's so close to Peterson, there were a lot of service members there which made it EXTREMELY loud. Couldn't hear any music just constant loud chattering. Not a big deal, just worth mentioning.

Absolutely FANTASTIC and authentic Japanese restaurant!!!! We had to move out of the area and we have NEVER experienced Japanese food as delicious as Osae’s!!! I swear we dream about this food. On occasion, we drive 2 hours to Springs area to get this top quality food. My bf met the owner, who was very friendly. Watch out. This food is addictive!
This place definitely was different on Japanese food and it was sexy like twister the board game! This prices were a bit too high and it would be nice to see them come down because I would be there weekly instead of once a month! If they had cocktails an draft beer this would be the go to! Anyways we all know perfect is very hard to come by! Beautiful staff an wonderful service!
Food was absolutely delicious, service was great, atmosphere was nice but so so loud. Highly recommend putting some sound absorbing panels up in the rafters so customers can have better conversations without raising their voices over all the other customers.
Delicious Vegetarian Ramen 🍜 the noodles are INCREDIBLE! We tried the miso broth and soy broth ramen bowl and they were both amazing! The sweet potato roll 🍱 is really good too. The service was also great. Overall wonderful experience! Thank you Osae!
I have watched this spot change from one restaurant that was here forever to other restaurants that failed horribly quickly... the owner of osei is a very nice gentleman he's very friendly and personable and make sure that everything is up to par daily. This restaurant has been in this location now for a few years and I have been known to order atheist once a week since I worked at the Quickway for 10+years. This is some of the BEST in town!! The Mongolian beef is the best especially when you ask for extra spicy!!!!
Finally tried out Osae on this windy, chilly day & it did not dissapoint 🤤
I had the spicy miso tonkatsu with grilled Chasu, Extra spicy 🌶️🔥The broth was so rich & they had the goooooood kine noodles 🍜🤙 #iykyk My son had the kids Ramen with extra noodles.
The fried Musubi was bomb 💣perfect layer of crust and teriyaki sauce wasn't too sweet.
Baked mussels, always a favorite & Pepper Tuna had a nice and citrusy ponzu sauce that I really enjoyed 🍋The shrimp tempura roll was literally the best we've ever had from portion size to flavor!
Their homemade chili oil was sooo flavorful on its own and really gave that kick!
On another day of visit I tried out their Short rib(kalbi) bowl and omg. Just YES! 🤤
We had the pleasure of meeting and being served by the owner, Such a sweet & hard working man. The entire staff was amazing though! Will definitely make this a regular spot 🤤

This place was so good! We definitely over ordered for 2 people but everything on the menu looked delicious. The appetizers were my favorites. The fried musubi was sweet and crunchy. The grilled pork belly was melt in your mouth tender. My husband loved his Alaska roll. The size of the standard rolls were on the smaller end but still fair for the price. My udon curry was so-so. It looked visually appetizing and smelled amazing but the flavor was a little lacking in my opinion. I would definitely come back and try other things on their menu.
We ate here randomly when our first restaurant plans fell through. Boy, are we glad that happened. The food was delicious, especially the ramen for me. Well worth a try and we will be going back in the near future.
This place looks like a hole in the wall from the parking lot in a strip mall, but you need to treat yourself to a really good Japanese meal. I had the beef & peppers, which was superb. It had a spicy flavor to the beef, but not overwhelming. The rest of our party was well pleased with their meals. Great service, we were well taken care of, even with a full house.
This place was great! My wife and I went in on a Friday evening. We are foodies, so we tend to stay a long time and Order lots. The service was top notch. The servers seemed to bring us what we needed before we even asked. All the food was great from the sushi to the rice bowls and even the deserts! If we lived in Colorado Springs, we'd go here once a week, it's that good!
I wish I had taken pictures to share of our meals. The entire experience was amazing. The food is delicious and fresh. The service is outstanding and fast. I highly recommend going here if you love sushi.
Decent place with really good sushi and ramen. Could use more plant-based options, but can make it work. Little hole in the wall experience, but still worth sitting in for the food. Really appreciate that their ramen gives you several different authentic broth options to give your life variety.

Dumplings we're hot and tasty. The ramen with the chicken was delicious, nice and warm. The one with the pork was even better, the pork so soft and so flavorful!
We got a small vanilla ice cream mochi for dessert and it was good!
Can't wait to go back and maybe try some sushi. The prices are high but the quality is outstanding and the portions pretty big.

Edit: We came back because we wanted a delicious ramen. The food is still the best, even if the ramen is always missing some of the ingredients written in the menu. The only downside we had this time was our greeter wasn't very nice. We arrived an hour before closing time and she checked her watch before even asking if we wanted to be seated..
This is a MUST go! The staff is excellent, very attentive, with quick service. We waited less then 5min between being seated and getting our appetizers. This is the perfect lunch spot! We went two days in a row and EVERYTHING was delicious. The menu covers everything you’d want to eat at a sushi and ramen restaurant. This reminds me of the food we fell in love with in Okinawa. Truly the best food we’ve had on our vacation here in Colorado Springs.
AMAZING. I have been in the Springs for two months and have been a bit frustrated by the dining options - don’t get me wrong; I’ve had great things but they’ve been few and far between. Not so with Osae. I got the shrimp tempura udon and everything about it was excellent. Bouncy udon noodles, a simple yet umami-bomb of a dashi, perfectly crispy fried shrimp, I just loved it. The takoyaki was a traditional style, with a dense and creamy batter and large, tender bites of octopus - delicious. My partner ordered the kotteri ramen and the broth and noodles and dumplings were all outstanding, and not quite like any I’d tried before. Last but not least, I loved the casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Don't let the strip mall fool you, this place is adorable! Excellent food with very friendly attentive staff. We got 2 rolls, an appetizer, and a bottle of sake for a little over fifty bucks before tip. We've also gotten take out before which was timely based on the estimate and had a delightful bowl. Would definitely recommend the rainbow roll, which we had already broken into before the picture. These are LARGE rolls
