Had a Pastrami sandwich w/ provolone on a roll, the Pastrami was really taste BUT there is not a lot of it and all you taste is bread. For 10 bucks its not worth it. ADD MORE MEAT :)
Best Deli sandwiches around. Love their potato salad
We’re new to Columbia and this was our first of many trips to 5th Avenue Deli. Holy cow, it was awesome! So many sandwiches and salads from which to choose. I had The Maple Street roast beef with egg salad (sounds weird but amazing) and she had the 3 salad sampler (egg, chicken and fruit salads). Sh
We eat here every time we are in Columbia. The chicken salad sandwich is one of the best that I have had anywhere. The line moves quick and you never wait long for your food. Their seasonal summer pasta salad is also pretty amazing. Definitely give it a try if they have it on your visit!

A favorite lunch spot. Nice, friendly staff. Large diversified selection of sandwiches and salads. Once the weather cools down, handmade soups are available - try the potato! Have taken friends and family there and all have enjoyed the experience.

Glad I checked this place out. Very fresh and delicious sandwich. Nothing pretentious about it - just good food expertly prepared when you order. I have some dietery issues with onions and peppers, so was delighted they had a pasta salad without. This was praised back at the office. We'll be back.
