Sato Japanese Restaurant - Columbia - Photo album

I like to say the food was very good and the cook we had was nice and funny. My family and I was there last night and it was our first time being at Sato. Even though we had to wait 40 to 45 minutes for a table. Then we got a table and we had to wait again for a server to take our drink orders and f
Ordered the Double Decker and California rolls through UberEats. I received my order within an hour. It was fine but a little bland and dry. I added spicy mayo, unagi, and crispy onions to take it up a notch. I would definitely try the double decker again.
So I ordered the steak dinner @ $22.95 (understandable) my child asked for just a side of steak, which was about the size of my fist, and not an expensive cut. I was charged $15.99 for ONLY a side of steak. No veggies and rice bc she doesn’t eat that from here. And the miso soup was cloudy. I wishe
This use to be our favorite go to spot for Japanese. Asked for no veggies in my food and received veggie, during dine in. The cook verified before making my food that I wanted no veggies and still cooked my food with veggies. Put veggies on my plate after looking disgusted and taking them off he ind
Very happy with our visit here. Came in with my family of 5. I have 3 small kids 7 and under and only had to wait a few minutes for a seat. The chef was exceptional! Gave our kids a wonderful first experience and was tipped very well for doing so as he spent so much time on our kids and giving them
My party of 20 was confirmed a day before arrival. We had reservations at 7:00pm! I was aware that we would not be seated until everyone was there. We all arrived on time no later than 6:50pm. We kept being told by the host that we would get seated in a “few minutes”. We didn’t get seated until 8:25
First come first serve basis. They will not let you in until all parties are present. The restaurant looks nice and the food is tasty. One of the waitresses slipped and fell with hot soup behind me and she immediately yelled at one of the cooks because he is the one who dropped his cucumbers.
I went here for the first time in a long time last week. I was impressed at the authenticity of the environment. A woman was crying at another table and I saw a chef comfort her, and then proceed to toss a shrimp into her mouth with his spatula. She was happy after that. So five stars
