Huge shout out to the awesome staff at Hot Box Cookies on Broadway in Downtown Columbia, MO! My husband is working downtown as a security guard and went in for a couple cookies. He liked them and called and asked if I wanted a couple. I have a peanut allergy and when he told the employees about it, they are specially cooking a new peanut free batch just so he can bring me home a couple cookies!! You guys rock!! This is what makes Columbia great! Thank you Hot Box!!
The 4.1 rating doesn’t give this place its due dessert ;). The cookies were VERY reasonably priced and were excellent quality. I recommend the ice cream - it was almost too much to eat!
The national cookie place down the road will get more recognition but this is a nice little gem with solid cookies and ice cream at an affordable price.
I'm gonna say it, Hot Box is better than Insomnia. They have a better selection of cookie flavours, the ambiance is hipper and grittier inside which makes the entire cookie experience unique, the cookies themselves are the ideal ratio of crunchy, buttery outsides and warm, soft insides. I got oatmeal chocolate chip and peanutbutter chocolate chip but will be back to try more flavours! They also have the option for icecream sandwhiches or icing too!
