Love the food, everything I've had is delicious and it's a weekly ritual. The only thing I wish I could change is the quantity of meat on the sandwiches--there's usually not enough (it depends on who's making the sandwiches). If it's too expensive to increase portion size maybe have an option to order extra meat and charge a little for it.
Not only was the food great (would highly recommend the potato salad and pork steak sandwich), but Lloyd and his crew were awesome! They were super sweet and I could not have been happier with my visit. My boyfriend, Caleb, and I will be back soon and we will recommend Big Daddy’s BBQ to all of our friends! Thanks guys!
I absolutely love the rib tips--great flavor, wonderfully unctuous pork perfection. The brisket melts in your mouth, and the pulled pork is superb. I love the greens, perfectly seasoned. The sauce, though--I could drink it! Lloyd's BBQ was great 25 years ago when it was downtown--and they've spent the last 25 years perfecting it!! I always stop by when I'm in CoMo. I live in KC which is known for their BBQ, and I think Big Daddy's could give them a run for Their money.
Stop talking about BBQ in KC and Memphis, come eat at Big Daddy's BBQ! I had a party catered this weekend and everyone loved the food! I can't decide if the ribs, the brisket, the wings, the pulled pork, the slaw or the baked beans were my favorite. YUM!
The ribs are the best in the area.. I also love the rib tip sandwich and slaw dog!
The beef brisket is consistently moist and tender, and the greens are delicious. I won't go anywhere else in Columbia for BBQ!
Absolutely phenomenal. Chicken sandwich was delicious, and the pulled pork nachos were the best I’ve ever had. The sides are great too! Awesome service as well, with a smile. We can’t wait to go back!
My husband stopped by your place and brought our supper home. Ribs, chicken, slaw, beans. I wish there was more than five stars because it was absolutely delicious. I am so full.

Just tried Big Daddy's for the first time. Lloyd was a sweetheart and took the time to answer all of my many questions. I got the pulled pork with potato salad and greens. The pulled pork was delicious and the sauce was so good! The potato salad had the perfect amount of sweetness and the greens were perfection. He also gave me slaw to give a try. It was delicious. Sweet and lots of sauce which a lot of others lack on. I like my slaw to have sauce with every bite, and this did. I will be a repeat customer many times over. Love that all of our local BBQ joints are all different. Como has some great Q and Big Daddy's is one of them!!'
Big Daddy's is phenomenal! Can't believe it took me so long to try it. I got the pulled pork and bake beans, the food came out quick and HOT! I loved it and will definitely be back for more!
I've been to the new location on Paris road 3 times now. The pulled pork, brisket, and wings are great. The ribs are fantastic and that sauce is so addicting. If you haven't been, you need to rectify that immediately.
Got the brisket sandwich with green beans and baked beans along with the pork nachos and pint of Mac n cheese. The meat was so tender the sauce is very sugary. The nachos were awesome the coleslaw works perfect on top. The Mac n cheese came cold and the side portions are pretty small but otherwise everything was awesome.
Bang for the buck, it’s okay. Quality ribs! Green beans are smush. But if you like them that way, then there you go. Fries were fries. Only outside seating, you paying full price but not getting the whole building. I heard they’re moving into the old McClank’s building. We will get another shot.
Travelling through Kansas and wanted really good bbq. Found this shack with order counter and patio tables. Did not disappoint! Meat being cooked right out back..DELICIOUS! Generous portions. Had the pulled pork and the rib tips. Loved the baked beans, whipped potato salad and coleslaw for sides.
Best BBQ ever! Traveling across the country with kids, stopped here for Food and it did not disappoint. Not only was the owner there with a smiling face, the staff was so nice and he spoiled our kids with cake. Also the best cake we have ever had. Can’t wait to make our way back to Missouri and eat more of Big Daddy’s BBQ.
Delicious! We had the pulled pork sandwich and the pulled chicken sandwich. Best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. I’ve had their catered meals before also and they were delicious too. Highly recommend.
I have missed Big Daddy’s since they closed the Garth location for the season! I am so glad they opened up shop at the Hathman Plaza. I am happy that my daughter were able to eat at our favorite place! The pork steak was on point! As were the greens! We left happy and saw many other happy people there!
Awesome dinner all around. Our party has brisket, pork steak, pulled pork and ribs. Delicious. Had sauce on the side which was a good choice. Sides great. Will get dessert next time. Sweet tea was perfect. Got there early.
