Universe doesn’t disappoint!!!
We were on our way to another Thai restaurant when our Lyft driver suggested us to try this place. I thank her and the universe for this suggestion. It does not disappoint at all. We ordered pepaya salad, shrimp rolls, Tom Yum Soup, Tom Kha Soup, and Pork Satay. They have a spiciness level from 1-5 and I went for 4 (having low expectation of the spiciness level). All foods were flavorful and the taste wasn’t shy at all. The Tom Yum and Tom Kha were on point, and we fell in love with the grilled pork satay. They were serious about the spiciness level. I’m Indonesian and I get sweats (happy one) here. This is a highly highly recommended Thai & Burmese restaurant. I applaud the chefs and the service as well. Definitely going to come back for sure. I’ll be a regular. 🥰🥰🥰Note: I added the spiciness level of each dish on the pictures below.
This place is AMAZING! The food is FRESH full of flavour and served nice and hot! The Waitress was so helpful and nice. Will recommend to family and friends!!!!! And we will be back!!! 😊 Thank you guys for the delicious meal 🙏🏻
Was in the mood for Thai as we were passing thru Columbia. Checked for the best rated options close to I70 and narrowed it down to three - this was the closest so our little group unanimously agreed on Tiger Chef.
It's located in the end of a tucked away little shopping strip in what appeared to be a vacated sports bar. The decor was blah, but it was very comfortable and the waitress a delight.
To my surprise, we all ordered Pad Thai. The noodles were thicker than I've ever had for a Pad Thai before. One of us also ordered the seaweed salad. Soon as the food arrived, we got quiet and got busy eating. It was good. The flavor was spot on and the servings generous for one meal. It served to quelch our cravings and fill our tummies and get us back on the road.
This is really an "off the beaten path" kind of place and appeared to be locally owned an operated. The atmosphere could use a little updating and the Pad Thai a little more veggies, but overall, a good value for the money.
This place is a hidden gem and I am so glad I found it. Hidden of the main drag on Rangeline, you would miss this place if you weren't heading directly there. Suffering from a bad sinus headache one day, I decided that I needed Thai food to clear myself up. I googled Thai restaurants and found that they were 5 minutes from me and took the plunge. This is now my favorite place to eat. I would put the Tom Yum soup ahead of any other Thai restaurants here in Columbia. The flavor is so rich and it even looks beautiful. Everything there is freshly made and unique. The owner is always super friendly as well. My go to when I need a pick me up :)
It's an Asian restaurant in Columbia, Missouri. It serves mainly Thai and Burmese cuisines. We had papaya salad and other Thai menus. The taste is superb and prices are reasonable. As I was hungry, I didn't have a chance to take pictures of the foods. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have Thai and Burmese cuisines. I will come here again if I visited Columbia in the future.
Tiger Chef was quite a pleasant surprise. The Thai iced tea was amazing. The chicken satay was really good. The noodle dishes were not bad but could’ve been better. A major negative was that the Tom Yum soup was extremely salty. Overall, I would give a 4 star but the friendliness of the staff makes this a 5 star review.
A hidden gem of Columbia! This is top notch Thai/Burmese food.
Perfect sauces and perfect dishes of delicious food.
The pictures in the menu don’t do justice for the actual food served. It was beyond amazing.
My new favorite place in Columbia.
