This place has a very welcoming crew.
They have great weekday and weekend specials.
They also have tons of draft beers on tap, not a beer drinker but if you are you would be in heaven.
I ordered a burger and it is wonderful, just what I have been craving.....
They also have outside seating which I love.
Friday nights they have live music according to the table top menu.
Will return in the future.....
I was in town for some Vw training and stopped by this place and it was amazing. The food was great, the beer selection was abundant, and the staff were very friendly. This will be my go to place for when I'm up here.

Great place for weekend brunch, food is always amazing and you can't go wrong with bottomless mimosas or make your own bloody Mary/vodka drinks!! They have the best burgers in town!!!
Great appetizers. they are large enough to share. So large groups should get a few and share. We got the Crab chips (yummy), the hot soft pretzels, spinach dip and some others. It was great! Also try the blackened chicken. The pasta with it is awesome. It is all spocy.....and if you REALLY like it spicy, they can make it even more so. Try a flight of beer. I also had the Russian stout aged in oak barrels.... can't get it in a flight... but is great.
Went for Sunday brunch- was seated quickly. We ordered the chicken & waffles and the banana praline french toast both were delicious. Only disappointment was that they didn't have peach Bellinis. Server was friendly and attentive.
Fun local pub in Columbia, sadly it's a bit hidden from the road but still has plenty of foot traffic! Servers were knowledgeable of the and everything on it. Burgers are solid and the wings were decent.
Bar seating when the restaurant is full still has fast service and their attentiveness is exception during busy times.
Visited The Ale House Columbia with friends last night and had a great experience! We had a larger table size, but only waited 10 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was pretty busy. We were in the outside area which had nice lights and speakers playing music. Our server was very friendly and provided great service!
I started off the night getting the pickle fries. They were delicious, crunchy and the aioli was the perfect dipping sauce for them. For my meal, I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was AMAZING!! It was so good I couldn’t stop talking about it with people at my own table. The veggies, the chicken in gochujang sauce and the pretzel bun just made an incredible flavor combination.
We will definitely be back again!
Got the poké salad and WOW was it awesome. Food is always on point here. Service wasn't as personable as I would have liked but it was busy so ill give them a pass on it. Overall it was a great experience!!!
I’ve been here several times and have always had a good experience. I usually get a few appetizers to share, but of my favorites is the salmon BLT, with onions rings instead of fries. The fish and chips is also fantastic..I like that we have the option to sit inside at the bar and still have the fresh air from outside. The one recommendation would be to have the wine in a temperature controlled environment- instead of on the counter in the heat and hot sun.
So so good. This brownie skillet didn't stand a chance. But really, everything fresh and delicious (poke salad, ale house burger). And our server Sam told us she was training...we had no idea...very attentive and smiling all evening. We'll be back!!
Solid 4 stars. Nothing too special but they have good booths and a pretty big selection. Our waitress was great tho
