The only problem I have is you need some kind of meat I can eat. I am on a grain free diet and almost everytime all the meats are breaded on the buffet. Have at least one unbread meat so I can eat. Had to order on the menu.
I used to come in every morning and eat my breakfast after my shift at Summit Manor. But now since I live in Russell Co. I have to make special trips over to get some down home and delicious cooking! The atmosphere is friendly and clean and the staff is great! Best place to eat in the county by far!
Had lunch here today and may never be hungry again! LaTonya provided great table service and the food bar was amazing! Among the selection was the best hush puppies I’ve ever eaten! I’ve eaten here several times before and wanted to have a piece of their coconut cream pie. Unfortunately, I ate too much! Next time, dessert first!
Great food and service. The best chocolate gravy and biscuits, catfish. Burgers and fries you can order in, eat from buffet or take out. If you're ever in Columbia stop by Betty's.
Service is very friendly.I asked about the desserts. What in the world is/ was sand pie? Until I tried it. Asked for it to go... again...until I tried it.. the styrofoam to go box went to the kitchen with the other dishes on the table.. never made it out of the door! yummo! �
I live in Indianapolis and mHave a granddaughter that lives in Russell Springs. On my way home we found Betty’s and stopped and ate some of the best food ever. This will be a stop every trip from now on.
We enjoy our meals at Betty’s, the friendly service and reasonable prices. Sand pie is my favorite and butterscotch pie is my husband’s favorite dessert there. If you haven’t tried it, I can highly recommend Betty’s Country Cooking.

We had the best experience. Our first time trying this place and it was amazing. The best and friendly waitress. Her name was Karen. So please ask for her . We will be back again. They also have a great all you can eat bar. The pricing is very reasonable. The entire restaurant and bathroom are spotless cleaned.

My husband and I dined at Betty's country cooking yesterday evening. We had the Valentine's day dinner special. The food was delicious. The waitress had a wonderful attitude and was very accurate. The timing was perfect between each course.
They were very busy but the food was great. Can't beat the portion size!
We saw this place as we were passing by and felt our bellies growl a little so we pulled in. As we entered Callie greeted us with a big smile and hello. Love it already. Fantastic sweet tea and then our food came, delicious! We saw the pies but had no room so we will be back. If you're in the area stop in.
If you want true country home cooking and not bunch of fried country cooking you have come to the right place. The food is excellent and the little blond waitress is a delightful person. I'll be back.
me and my wife had the omlets and fixens…so good. our watress was a firecracker making sure we had the best service. you felt like you were home while eating there. we were lucky to be there right when it opened that day because it quickly became crowded. there must be a reason, probaby because the locals know its the best place to eat for miles around. thank you for having us
