Review The Local Kitchen & Ale - Columbiana

We've been going to the Local Kitchen & Ale for quite awhile, and the food no matter what you order is excellent. Now they have Prime Rib I think for a limited time, it may be the best I have eaten. And I have been to some very nice steak houses, all across the south. If you haven't been there you really need to try it. Also try their wings and their Chicken bacon ranch fettuccine, you won't regret anything you order. Last night 11/05/20 we were at the Local Kitchen & Ale they had short ribs Fred Flintstone style on the menu and they were a absolutely the best. The staff here are the best they take very good care of their customers. If you haven't tried it yet you need to check facebook for their specials during the week you'll be glad you did.

This place is aweaome. Delicious good quality food. The fresh pork Rinds were great. Dreamsicle Cake you must try!!! Plus they have a patio for your pets!!! 👍 😃

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Good place to take family, there is a full service bar. There's also a nice outsude seating are if the inside is to loud. If you have a well behaved dog, bring them with you. Dogs are allowed in the patio area. Food is great, I recommend the ham & swiss sandwich and string fries. I ate it all before getting a picture.

You gotta try this place!!!!! Didn't even know this place was there but so glad i do now. The atmosphere had such a cool vibe. The owner was awesome and the food... Was excellent. This little place has a trained chef snd WOW the food specials, I'm going to make sure I try them all!!! Adding this to one of my favorite go-to spots!!!

The food was amazing! The chips were great, service was good also! They don't have a kids menu but pizza rolls and turkey sandwich was a great choice for my kiddos.

Long post: I visited this place back when they first opened, and even though it was good, I wasn't impressed with the options given and with a picky husband it was hard to select. Husband and I decided to try it last night. I had learned that they changed their menu up. Let me just say this place was top notch. I already knew the atmosphere was nice and cozy, made you feel relaxed and comfortable. We walked in feeling like we were welcome and appreciated! We both opted for the pasta dishes, him the spaghetti and me the alfredo, both came with side salads and we chose an extra order of the garlic knots. This food y'all! Let me tell you! IT WAS AMAZING! I am Italian and can be picky about my pasta dishes. Both dishes were just full of flavor and substance! The Alfredo was creamy and just perfect! The noodles were cooked to perfection! They were not crunchy and they didn't just fall apart in your mouth. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs, again the noodles cooked to perfection, and the sauce was great! The meatballs were huge and cooked all the way through. The portions were big, one could easily leave with leftovers. Not us though, way to good to stop eating it! I love that they had other finger food options if you just wanted a snack and a beer. Or you could do the pasta for a nice date night, like the husband and I chose. I can not say enough about this place! The prices were reasonable especially for what we got, and the owner was so nice. I kinda stuck my foot in my mouth when i asked if he had been there since they opened because i didn't care for the menu before. He politely said yes he didn't have a choice since he was the owner. lol Oh my! oops! he then explained how much time and effort he has put into this establishment hiring a chef from culinary school and revamping the menu to meet needs and cut down waste. Ya'll!!! It was great! Thank you Local Kitchen & Ale for sticking it out. I will be back!

An absolute GEM for the city of Columbiana. Awesome food and neighborhood feel. A weekly MUST dining and social experience and worth the drive from anywhere in Central Alabama. Weekly Specials that are to die for. 100% recommend a visit to The Local Kitchen and Ale. Ken R. (Oh and dog friendly on the patio).

Great family owned and operated and is for families as well. We went to Wednesday evening's Prime Rib night with a family.group of 10 plus. To say that it was perfect is an understatement!! Try it if you're looking for "that place"...and save me a seat please.....
