Nice moody vibes, all 3 rooms have different ambiences. Food: not too overly salty, good flavors. Carpaccio, big plate with a lot of arugula. Crab cakes, good flavors. Steak, tender and nicely cooked, the plating was a little funny because it reminded me of shoes. The drinks were fine. Fried cauliflower were too greasy. French onion soup was very good. The servers all recommend the same dishes

Amazing food! Definitely recommend sitting on the patio if it’s open, it was the prettiest garden scene. We ordered the carpaccio for an appetizer which melted in our mouths, angel hair pasta and the pesto dish for our main courses and the key lime pie for dessert. Our waitress had the best, most honest recommendations!! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambience. Going back as soon as we can justify it!!

Truly a lovely outdoor space to eat (there’s even an outdoor bar which is where I ate dinner). The waitress and waiters were all super friendly and kind - since I was visiting from out of town, they offered thoughtful recommendations on what to do nearby. There is a huge wine list (quality options!) and truly delicious food. I had the salmon entree and the warm bread they serve and make in house is spectacular. I would sincerely recommend to anyone in the area, go check it out!

had breakfast here. i loved the feel of the place, and the food they had here. and it took less time to get to us than you would think. i took some practice photos of some of the food and drink. also a plus, they played "what you won't do for love" by Bobby Caldwell, which is on my daily go-to playlist, so good music too.

Any local will tell you this is a loved, well-established restaurant in Columbus. They have a beautiful, large patio, and inside isn't too shabby either. The brunch/lunch menus are solid. Even from the basic items, you can tell they have very skilled chefs. I've had a couple of excellent salads -- smart ingredient combos with plenty texture and flavor contrasts. They've served me a perfectly cooked salmon. I had three courses at dinner once: the cauliflower app was crispy, had a tasty aioli, a little heat, a little sweet -- everything meshed well. The chicken entree plating wowed me before I took a single bite; it had bright flavors and was tender/juicy throughout every piece. Post mortem was an excellent dessert; you can't go wrong combining a warm fudgy brownie with coffee flavored I've cream. Lindey's is a top-tier dining experience, no matter what the occasion!

We made reservations fora Saturday night at 9pm and once we arrived we had the option of seating indoor or outdoor. We opted for indoor since it was pretty muggy that day. The staff was very attentive and our waitress was very personable. The food was great and very large portions. I got the chefs salmon and my boyfriend got the B chicken with a side of mashed potatoes. We don’t normally get dessert but we decided to try the apple bread pudding and the coffee ice cream brownie sundae. They were phenomenal and a great portion.

I was really impressed with my experience here! We had patio seating, which was beautiful. The Caesar salad was to die for, chicken was good although slightly overdone, also ordered a white chocolate pot de creme which was super rich and flavorful. I'll definitely be back!

I just want to shout out our server, Porter, who made our birthday experience exceptionally great. My elderly friend has dementia and he couldn't have been more patient and kind. He treated him with dignity and respect while still accommodating his interesting and unique demands. Our service couldn't have been better. Thanks, Porter! You made our day very special!

Start with the amazing happy hour at Lindey’s then move over to the main dining room for dinner. Wonderful from start to finish, this long standing, elevated dining experience in Columbus deserves the decades of accolades.

We went to Lindey's for Thanksgiving Dinner which is different from a regular dining experience. The had a limited holiday menu, which is expected. You can not do much with sliced turkey, mashed potatoes and a vegetable. It was prepared and presented well. Their twist was to serve the dinner on an oval plate. Our group has nicknamed it the trough. It is so large that you can not help but thinking they served so much to justify the price. The comments on the staff is correct. They do seem to vary in the quality of service they provide. The atmosphere in the dining rooms is high end as expected. However, I do feel that it is overrated. I feel like I am paying ten dollars a plate to sit down to eat.

Best lamb chops I’ve ever tasted. I also highly recommend the Burrata as an appetizer. Eye-catching art, romantic lighting, energetic atmosphere, wonderful service… I would highly recommend Lindey’s for a romantic dinner date.

This place was wonderful! The staff was wonderful our waiters name was Ryan, and it’s safe to say he didn’t disappoint! His attitude was wonderful, and he always made sure we had what we needed! My wife got the lamb and I got the stake meal, we both loved our dinners, very good and came in a timely manner but spaced out enough to actually enjoy what was being brought to you. Appetizer was amazing, and the drinks too! Also the little bread they bring out in the basket was good too!! Definitely recommend and will be going back! Makes for a great date night!

I went here on a Tuesday with coworkers for a late dinner. 🍽 Our reservation was for 8 pm so I thought finding parking might be easy but goodness German Village sure knows how to make parking a hassle lol. My husband and I parked about a block down on a side street while the others opted for valet. Upon entering, I noticed the restaurant is dimly lit with an old timey vibe. There are paintings and large mirrors on the walls to bring the decor altogether. ✨️ Our table decided to order four salads to share amongst ourselves (there were 6 of us). We had two Caesar salads and two chopped salads. 🥗 Both options were great but the chopped salad in particular was DELECTABLE. 😍 The candied pecans, bacon, and apple slices within really tied together the savory, sweet, and crunchy components . For my entrée, I ordered the steak frites. 😋 The steak was spectacular and the arugula salad tasted fresh and flavorful. The fries were also well seasoned. 🍟 Everyone at the table raved about how much they enjoyed their meals (pictured below). For dessert, we ordered three different options for the table: apple cinnamon bread pudding, key lime pie, and Lindey's post mortem. My favorites were the bread pudding and the key like pie. 🤤 The bread pudding was warm and served with ice cream and the pie crust was awesome. Oh yeah, a few people ordered tea or coffee to pair with the dessert. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were great. I'd love to come here again whether it be for date night or a celebration. 🍾

This is a hidden gem right near downtown. The service and ambiance is impeccable. We started with the lobster bisque, that actually had lobster in it lol. Fried oyster Rockefeller laid on a bed of cream spinach and some of the best calamari. For our entrees he got the lamb chop, and I had the shrimp risotto. Finished with the key lime pie and brownie cake. Overall this is a good date night place priced really well considering it's a more upscale place.
