This was an authentic destination for Japanese dishes. The ramen was very delicious, with the noodles being just right and the broth rich, yet not too salty. I would recommend trying this place out if you haven't already!

I always get so excited going to this ramen place because they have delicious food as always! Tried many places, but this one always hits the authentic tastes! And oh walking at the Japanese market is always the best too..

The ramen is delicious. I've been there twice, and enjoyed the food both times. There's also a bread and cake shop, and a Japanese market by here.

Great Japanese food including ramen and other dishes. The food is always delicious and perfect, and the although they are busy, the wait time is not that bad. It is a little crowded so it might be hard to find a seat. Since Sushi 10 is owned by the same people, you can also grab some sushi and eat it inside if you find a seat.

Took my kids for a nice Japanese lunch. We got chicken. Teriyaki, spicy shrimp tempura, shoya ramen, chicken cutlet curry, and chicken karaage. Everything was delicious. When I say that, I mean authentic to what I remember to be the tastes from Japan. Love coming to this area for the wonderful Japanese culture here, it's been almost 20 years since I've been in Japan but this area of town reminds so much of being back there. Always look forward to coming to this area of Columbus.

The service here was very friendly and helpful. It can be quite busy most of the time but the staff does their best to get food out as fast as they can without compromising on quality. The chicken ramen is light and mild but still has a good flavor. I prefer pork ramen that has a deeper rich flavor. The made from scratch spice is a great addition if you want some additional heat. The portion you are given matches the price. I recommend this place to anyone looking for some hot 🔥 delicious food.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tensuke Express for the first time, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. Tensuke Express is a cozy and welcoming Japanese restaurant located in a very nice area, it offers a variety of delectable dishes inspired by authentic Japanese cuisine. Ambience and Service: Upon entering Tensuke Express, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's simple yet elegant decor created a comfortable dining environment. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any questions or requests. Despite it being my first time, they made me feel welcome and guided me through the menu options. Food: The menu at Tensuke Express is diverse, featuring a wide range of Japanese favorites. I decided to try their Ramen 🍜 , and I was thoroughly impressed. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the flavors were well-balanced. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles had a perfect texture. The bowl was generously filled with toppings, including tender slices of chicken, seaweed, and a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Value for Money: Considering the high quality of the food and the overall dining experience, I found Tensuke Express to be reasonable ( 10/20$ per person) The portions were generous, and the ingredients used were of excellent quality. The prices were comparable to other Japanese restaurants in the area, and I felt that I received good value for my money. Improvements: While my visit to Tensuke Express was enjoyable, there were a couple of minor areas for improvement. The seating area, although comfortable, felt a bit cramped when the restaurant was busy. Additionally, the menu could benefit from a few more vegetarian or vegan options to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences. Conclusion: Overall, my first visit to Tensuke Express was a fantastic experience. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food made it a memorable dining adventure. If you're looking for a Japanese restaurant that offers high-quality ingredients, flavorful ramen, and friendly service, Tensuke Express is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings. It's nice place for a date night 💕

Best ramen in Columbus! Seating is limited. They also close during the afternoon, so keep that in mind!

A perfect spot to get affordable, great Japanese food. I got the beef curry with a pork cutlet and it was awesome, will definitely try the spicier option I saw on the menu next time. Edit: 2 years later and this is my favorite Japanese spot in town. Their curry is the best, their ramen is tasty, and I just had their udon with shrimp tempura and was blown away.

The environment can be overwhelming especially when busy, and the staff are generally friendly. They sometimes get busy and you might be in line for awhile, but the food is great. Pretty normal pricing for the style of food as well.

I am in Columbus for a work trip and am staying not far away and thought I would give it a try. Unassuming location and basic design but I am now OBSESSED with the miso ramen with spicy pork and kimchi. The broth is like velvet, just enough spice for flavor and so rich. The pork is fork tender and the kimchi was the perfect crunch to go with it. I typically eat small portions but I plowed through the entire bowl, and if I had room for it I would have drank the rest of the broth. I almost made it! I took it to go and the packaging was brilliant; the broth was on the bottom and the ramen, pork and kimchi were packed separately on the top so the noodles kept their texture. It took about 15-20 minutes to arrive but it was totally worth the wait. The young lady that waited on me was knowledgeable and super friendly. I don't come to Cbus often but I will visit this place again!

We love this place! Every time we visit Columbus we come here for noodles! I try a new bowl everytime. I'm going to have to try the curry next time. I saw a lot of people with it so it must be good. Service is fast even on busy days.

This was my first time eating here, and the food did not disappoint me. The only hiccup was the seating availability and time food was received. If you plan to go here, just prepare for a possible 20 + minute wait for your food during busy times. Additionally, be prepared to look for seating as soon as possible if visiting with another person. Aside from the small situations in which I encountered, listed above. I would still rate this place as a good food spot since having a lot of people for a restaurant is a good problem to have for any business. 😉 In summary, none of what i mentioned affected the good quality of the food and kind service.

The food was delicious and hot! Everything tasted amazing! The staff was very kind. Atmosphere was nice. Spacious dining space. The Takoyaki wasn't the best thing but that's because of my own tastes and octopus is scary to eat. 🤣 The Bonito flakes were interesting though!
