We had a wonderful first time experience here at Paulee Gees! Our server, Cassie, was friendly and explained the menu well while offering cocktail and dinner suggestions. TJ took time to meet us and explain about that humongous imported clay and tile wood-fired oven where all the pies are baked. Did y'all know that TJ purveys the mixed hardwoods for the daily fires from a source up near Cleveland and has it stored here? He trusts the mix to give the right heat and flavor to make the best pizzas. Once a week, he goes to his stockpile here to get what he will need for the week. His attention to detail to bring us the best crust.... sauce... toppings... pie is unfounded in most places I've been. And trust me... I've been to a lot. Every step and decision made is intentional, and as s customer, I appreciate that. In one word, my first experience was amazeballs. Thank you, TJ, for feeding our souls as much as our palates. 😊 See you again soon with a fresh crop of peeps!

You can't find more authentic, Italian pizza here in the states. The wood fire ovens give it that true, smokey flavor in the crust. Add on the sauce and toppings, you can't find anything better. I can't wait to go again. Worth every penny!

My favorite Pizza in Columbus. TJ and staff are so welcoming and can fire up a phenomenal wood fired pizza or a great cocktail.

Solid spot for pizza. Good flavors and if you like neapolitan style crust it's probably the best in Columbus. Took a long time for our pizza to come out and parking is a little hard but it's a worthwhile spot.

First time here, short wait but not a problem. Ordered the square pepperoni without the hot honey, it was very good. Definitely recommend. It's thick but not heavy. Would go back and try the thin crust.

5 stars for hellboy! Love honey on pizza, it’s such a good combination. 4 stars for Jeb’s garden, the cashew ricotta is pretty interesting in texture. The clumps of chili oil on top of the pizza is spicy! The clumps are pretty a little big too imo so if you accidentally eat a mouthful of that, o Mannnnn. Squares are very thick crunchy pieces, it takes longer to bake but well worth the wait. Caesar salad is good, it has crunchy croutons crumbles and bacon bites. I love the crunchy crouton crumbles! Sometimes the bottom and crust is more burnt then other times, I personally like it less burnt/black.

Stopped in for dinner while kids were at Skullys down the street. So delicious! Great service, great atmosphere, and great food! We had the Cea-sal and Cheese Square. It was 1/2 price wine for Thursday. Would definitely return.

I prefer the slice shop in Brooklyn. But, this might have been the best neopolitan style I have ever had. I've pizza toured New Jersey, New York and New Haven. Razza in New Jersey gets the attention and it doesn't beat this pizza. Our server was less than engaged but that did not take away from the food quality

I've been waiting to try this place out. Finally, I did today with my 7 yr has a kick start to summer. All their round pizzas are 12" but they also have Sicilian style which are square and the come in six pieces. My son got the pep and cheese, and I got the Supreme and mots. The dough was crispy, thin, great chew, and overall delicious. They don't have a huge menu, which I like that it is simple. There are lots of options for vegetarians and vegan options, too. Hope yall give them a try. My 7 yr old ate almost the whole 12" lol. Great for happy hr if you're looking for a place.

The round has become my favorite pizza in Columbus. It tastes a lot like Frank Pepe's in Boston.

This place is cute, maintains kind of a dive vibe in the heart of the short north. Not a huge menu but the food is solid. Plenty of vegan options, except for the salads, oddly. Service was quick and attentive. Pricey - when I went the menus were $24-26 for a small pizza. We went on sweatpants Sunday so the deal made it a bit more affordable.

Another one of those places with good food where the food is not quite as good as they think and the prices are just a touch too much for comfortability. Those kinds of businesses seem to be everywhere these days. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, just not great.

For sure the best pizza in Columbus! I use to make pizza at home all the time… but if I need to go out for pizza, Paulie Gee’s is for sure my to-go place. Pizza is delicious and quality of the products is very high. Crust (Neapolitan Style) is very light and digestible. I love it and I could it 2 of them! Place is nothing fancy but it is pretty cozy and servers are nice and really help.
