I have been going to Indian Oven for years, they have wonderful food and top-notch service. The buffet is reasonably priced at $9.95 all-you-can-eat; great basmati rice and naan and I specially love the dalmahkni, which is a bean Curry dish; also the rice pudding is wonderful. I would highly recommend this place if you like Indian food; if you wanted to experiment I think the buy to try different things.
I first met the owner Murad in 1998 when he had his restaurant up on North High. I now live in California, but Indian Oven in Columbus, OH is truly one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten in. I have lived in 9 states and this place stands out as one of the very best!! Columbus, Ohio is very fortunate to have this caliber of Indian food!! Bravo Murad!!

We have been patronizing this restaurant for almost 20 years. We have never experienced anything less than great meals at Indian Oven.
The food, service and proprietor are second to none! Murad takes pride in every aspect of this restaurant and it shows in the quality and consistency of the food and service.
If you like Indian you won't likely find any better in Columbus, and that is saying a lot as Columbus has many excellent Indian restaurants.
Best Indian Food in Columbus. The dinner special egg rolls are divine (the sauce is heaven), get the papad and coriander chutney and the curry chicken on the lunch buffet is best in show. The chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken on bone are terrific staples.
Great spot for Indian fare. Liked the ambience - gives an upscale Indian dhaba feel. Food was great. Tried the tandoori and chicken curry. Both were nicely cooked with great Indian flavors. Will visit again to try their other chef specials.
I came here with my family and the food and customer service couldn’t have been better. The waiter that served us today was very kind, answered any questions we had and gave his recommendations as well. The atmosphere inside was one of the best I’ve seen. It’s clean, friendly, and homey. Our time here couldn’t have been better and we will definitely come back here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice calming location for any events, family dinners, and or date nights, it’s a very versatile location.
Some of the best samosas I've ever had! Restaurant is a little dark inside but the mango smoothie and the mango lassi were great! We had samosa appetizers and chicken vindaloo (hot) and lamb shank (medium heat). Absolutely amazing dishes.
Will definitely be coming back again :)
Best Indian food I have ever had. My wife and I ordered two entrees, naan, vegetable pakora, and tea. Everything tasted delicious with the perfect blend of spices. Every employee was very nice and inviting. The restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. This will be our go to spot for Indian cuisine.
It's the best Indian place overall in my experience. Great value all around in terms of portions. Best entrees, amazing samosa, and the literal best chutney on the face of the planet. The owner remembers us every time, and every person working there is the nicest. I haven't been there for lunch yet in the ten years we've been going here, but I get to shift that. Tonight I had the best lamb chops I can recall ever having.
