Alpine Restaurant - Columbus - Photo album

Practically had the place to ourselves. It was a nice venue at which to celebrate a birthday. Appreciated being able to order off both the Alpine and El Lugar menus. Highly recommend the mushroom small plate. The tuna was a great portion and also good. Currywurst was excellent and the kaspatzel was
Very nice place and the employees were very helpful. The manager came over and spoke with for a little while prior to eating. He is a very soft spoken gentleman. The restrooms were down two flights of stairs may cause difficulties for some. The bar was stocked very well and that area was quite c
I absolutely love Alpine- It’s one of my favorite spots in Columbus( as a Columbus local, that’s saying a lot). El Lugar is a tapas and bar attached and owned by the same and is a wonderful as well. So many good dishes to try! Try the scallop or steak + wine from El Lugar and get the Raclette- bubbl
We are visiting Columbus from out of state and made reservations to have dinner. I am sure glad that we did. The service was outstanding and everyone was helpful and friendly. Parking was as expected since it is located in the middle of the city. The restaurant was clean and looked great. Now for th
I was blown away by the quality of the meal and we had attentive and charming service. Will be back!
Came here for a birthday dinner. The food was great! $9 for a scrape of raclette seems excessive until you taste it. The hickory smoked Old Fashioned was wonderful
Cute place. Great atmosphere. Our server was inattentive and the food was okay. We really wanted a pretzel with cheese but they were out. As we finished our dinner, we saw a woman lay pretzels on the counter. Wish we could have had one.
Alpine is a nice smaller restaurant in German Village that has a pleasant atmosphere as soon as you walk up. The staff were all very courteous and kept up on us without being annoying. They provided some good conversations and updates on the history of the place and the food. Menu has some good clas
Went here for dinner and it was my first experience with German food. The Brussel sprouts were great and the fried cabbage and vegan sausage was WOW. Don't knock German food like I did. Please try this place you'll like it.
How worth was it tracking down The Alpine Restaurant? 5 stars worth. Sitting outside, the sun dropping behind the trees, we were able to decompress, and enjoy a beer and tasty food! Friendly professional staff, the beer crisp and refreshing, and the spätzle was top notch! Start tracking.
Went there for the raclette and it did not disappoint. The toasty warm cheese was an experience that left me in heaven. The cheese was tangy, sweet, nutty and buttery.
Great, friendly staff & amazing food/drinks! This was my second trip (first was before COVID) & the atmosphere was exactly as I remember it. The food is probably the most traditionally German food I've found in Columbus!
Had our parents 40th anniversary here and service was incredible in accommodating our party. Very impressed with the food. Best currywurst we've had since germany. Will be coming back
A MUST visit! Amazing drink options on top of amazing food selections! Ask for Alex! He'll have some great drink recommendations for ya! Very chic and quant vintage brick wall setting. Love the atmosphere in general.
Alpine and El Lugar is the hidden gem of German Village. You get two fantastic menus in one place and the food has been delicious every time I've been. Plus their wine selection is on point. The patio is also amazing in the spring/summer/fall!
