Great coffee, good food, comfortable and clean atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. Reminds me of the old town diners in Texas.

My craving for a burger, fries, & milkshake was easily satisfied for under $10 (pre-tip)!

Typical diner food and atmosphere. The service is always good and your order is served quickly. It's a good casual lunch spot in downtown Columbus but a little hidden in an alley. There's not much seating so it can be hard to find a spot during peak lunch hours. They always have a kitchen special that's a good deal and they serve breakfast all day.

This place is perfect! My friend and I were staying at the hotel across the way and we went down to have breakfast at the baffet, but it was going to be 30 bucks for both of us. So we decided to wait and just have an early lunch. But, a man who worked in the hotel told us about Jacks. My friend and I decided to try it. It was a very short walk and the diner was pretty cute. It is like an old 60's diner. The waitresses were SO NICE! They kept you refilled and the food was out real quick. For the two of us it was 8 bucks and we walked out full and happy.

If you go in expecting good, all-American comfort food, you will enjoy this place. No huge portions, no flavors to-die for. Decent prices and good food (though the "special" should be called the "feature" cause it's sold at regular price). Down home goodness. Johnny Marzetti, anyone?

I was in town visiting and decided to try this diner. It's like a step back in time. Great prices. Great food. The service is wonderful. My food was served quickly and I had a great chat with the staff while I waited. I will be back on my next visit.

A wonderfully retro diner that gets making the classic foods very well and that gets great old school customer service making this a great cosy restaurant! We felt like we were sitting on the set of an episode of "Friends". If I lived in downtown Columbus, I would most likely be there on a daily basis. Best corned beef hash I've had since my Mama made it in 1972! Great prices, too and if I were running for political office, this would be on my stop for connecting with salt-of-the earth folks! Really well done. Thank you!!

They were closing but still offered to take care of me. The posted hours are more of a suggestion because they don't sit around and wait if nobody is coming in. I don't fault them for paying for lights no one will see. Very cute place with a classic charm and affordable prices. Simple dinner menu but they got the standard breakfast, lunch and dinner options you'd expect.

SEVEN WORDS: Short Order Breakfast Diner / Cheap but Yummy. Ordered French Toast, Eggs, and Sausage with a Large Milk. It arrived in 5-6 Minutes and was Standard Diner Grub. But the French Toast was more on par with IHOP than you'd usually get from a diner. The final bill was about $11, which was very reason and value-minded. You could easily get in and out under 25 minutes and $12, including tip. This will become my regular breakfast stop after a long overnight shift. Good eats.

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast - the staff was super friendly, and the food was ridiculously good. Affordable too. I highly recommend it if you're looking for some classic, tasty diner food.

A true diner experience: breakfast served all day; daily specials; owner, Chris, mans the grill and serves up tasty, reasonably-priced dishes; excellent, friendly service (our favorite wait person, Vickie, delivers our Diet Cokes without needing to ask what we'd like to drink); and kistchy, but very clean. Best seats in the house are at the counter where you're just as likely to rub elbows with the governor as a drugstore clerk.

Chicken caesar wrap made to order is so tasty. I work downtown and just found Jacks today. I love a good diner. Think I found one! Staff is friendly too.

The waitresses are always friendly and quick. I haven't had something on the menu I didn't like and the prices are great. This is a welcomed break from the snobbish/pretentious lunch options that plague downtown.

I've been to this place for so many times. I absolutely love this place. Such good food, such good drinks. Probably the best place to hangout. I usually go here with my friends for some dine-outs and parties.

A+ greasy spoon diner, fare is basic but good, light on vegetarian options but that's what I expect from a diner--if you're veggie, you'll probably mostly want to count on the breakfast manu. Favorite spot for getting my milkshake fix downtown.
