Friendly, casual, and delicious.. I've been to El Acapulco several times with friends when we want to kick back and relax. The wait staff is very friendly and low pressure; you are welcome to order a drink and appetizer and chat, but you don't feel pushed to get anything else. The guacamole is GREAT. Great prices on drinks and food, plenty to eat and it is good quality. Two thumbs up!
YUM!. My husband and I love this place! We eat here at least once a month if not more. The owner and staff are friendly. The owner always remebers what we order every time we come in. I have tried alot of different things on the menu and I can never go wrong.

I love this place and visit frequently. I always order steak tacos and they are amazing. Margaritas aren't bad either. Service is ok but quick so I guess a personality doesn't really matter as long as the food is quick and fast. Besides that, always check your receipt. It isn't itemized and only shows prices. My receipt had stuff from the table next to us listed and I would have never known if I didn't ask what all the random amounts were. Otherwise, nice place.

Very friendly service and tasty food! We went on Father's day and we'd never been here before since we're from out of town. We sat ourselves as per their sign and were greeted shortly after with a smile along with chips and salsa. Decor was a bit dated and the carpet was a but stained, but the food was very good. Restaraunt was not too busy and we had a great hot meal to enjoy while celebrating my husband on Father's day.
Super friendly owners and staff make you feel welcome every visit. Delicious food, prepared to order, fast and hot. Very reasonable prices and they always mail you a BOGO coupon. They have bar in the back great for happy hour. Large covered outside patio with about a dozen 4 top tables.
We have been coming to the El for about 18 years. It’s our go too for Mexican. They have always treated us like family. The margaritas and the food are wonderful and very fairly priced. Right now you will see some new faces helping out as they are waiting for their fearless leader to heal and get back on his feet. So have patience when you go in and know that these are friends and family right now helping out and trying to keep this place moving along. Before you take the time to rip a place apart with a bad review just think that maybe there is back story and a struggle happening.
Always Always Always a good experience at El Acapulco. The food is great and the service is awesome! If you like spicy, order a side of their homemade hot sauce to mix in your salsa. It's amazing!

Excellent small family owned Mexican restaurant. Stopped here while passing thru. Great food, big portions, delicious margaritas and reasonably priced. If you are looking for something local and non chain, this is it!
We have never had a bad meal here....the staff are friendly and very attentive. They serve the best Margarita's in town. This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant.

The food at El Acapulco is exquisite. You can tell that the cooks take their time to produce quality dishes at affordable prices. Also the Queso is to die for.

Food was authentic and amazing with plenty of options, chips and salsa was welcomed but not needed as the food was quickly served. Very well priced and Good flan!
AMAZING!!! We are traveling from Chicago and this place was easy to find right off the main intersection at Polaris and I-71. Perfect place for family to eat if you are hungry and enjoy authentic atmosphere.
Im not a Columbus native and I tend to think most Mexican restaurants around campus are complete trash. I will gladly drive the 20 minutes to this place as I have literally tried every single Mexican restaurant in a 10 mile radius from campus.
Good tasting food prepared in a timely fashion. Just a bit less generous serving size compared to most Mexican restaurants but the price was right for the size
