The food was great! best I have ever had at any Steak 'n Shake. Our waiter was wonderful and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone.
They live up to their name by offering great food and incredible shakes. You can tell that their shakes are different and better than any other chains including Friendly's or Carvel. I asked for a variation of the Nutella shake by adding chocolate and they did it without hesitation, service was great! As a critic I would say that the burgers are skinny so a triple burger there is almost like a regular homemade burger here in Jersey.
Super fast food. There is very little contact with staff since the restaurant has moved towards a contact less business. You enter your own order at the kiosks, help yourself to the fountain drinks, and they call your name when the food is ready. Food was made perfectly.
Wonderful experience. This place has adapted well to short staffing by going to self ordering on the kiosk which was simple and I got to customize easily. We sat down and the drinks are self serve so you can get refills as you want. The food was delicious and accurate. Restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. Great spot.
Excellent service. By the time I ordered it and they swiped my card they were already handing me the bag. On top of that, they didn’t just throw it in they put it in the bag properly. Everything I ordered turned out the way I ordered it and the food was fresh and delicious.
My wife ordered a chicken tender 5 piece meal with only fries and I ordered the frisco just the sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger just the sandwich. They couldn’t have done better especially in the amount of time and I’m impressed. Five stars!
I got in from Washington, DC and was starving. I went on Grubhub and a friend recommended this place and I said why not. Well, this was a GREAT choice! Super fresh food, reasonably priced and excellent service. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Bugers seem smaller than before new kiosk system. Still good though. Milkshake was good. Lots of diners for time we went. Staff was friendly.

Steak ‘n Shake has changed so much. Every is self setup with screens to order and I have to be honest it feels like a lot less is on the menu these days. An Inflation and a pandemic was enough to turn it into a ghost town
Great prices and excellent burger and fries and shakes and cokes. 11/10. Always hot and freshly made. Great deal. I went there 3 meals in a row.
I really love the new process post covid. Instead of being waited on now, they have kiosks that orders are placed on. Which creates less interaction but you still get the same end result. Hot food and cold shakes
Just went through the drive thru and had the best meal! Freshly made and so yummy! Very friendly associate at the drive thru window!
This is a nice Steak and Shake. The food taste fresh. The staff is very nice. The restrooms are a little dirty, but the dining room is clean. They have new self-check-out ordering machines. That make ordering your food super easy.
