No. 1 Chinese - Columbus - Photo album

I've been twice and had takeout once. Everything has been very flavorful. I have not tried any of the American menu but the Chinese menu is awesome. The Salt and Pepper Tofu and Eggplant with soybean paste were excellent. The Mapo tofu without meat was good but a little 1 note. I would only get it a
Been meaning to try this place for years now, finally made it in. This place rules. I can’t wait to go back. Had the spicy beef noodle soup and spring rolls. Spring rolls were a little undercooked but I can forgive it. The soup was great, and an absolute ton of food. The guy who took my order was gr
I've probably had the typical American-style Chinese food hundreds of times and you always know what to expect. This place blows those expectations out of the water and serves up some distinct and delicious dishes from another region of China. We had the Beef Noodle Soup, Edamame, Salt & Pepper To
Love this place. It can get busy. Very good cumin potatoes. Everything is good on the Chinese menu.
I tryed the NE Chinese Restaurant a few Sunday's ago, cause they had pretty solid reviews. I ordered the Chicken eggroll and Chicken and Broccoli. The eggrolls were pretty good. The Chicken and Broccoli was also good. The only compliant was that the brown sauce was a bit too sweet than what I'm used
Wow. That was some of the best takeout I have had in a while. Cilantro pork, peppercorn beef, spicy potato salad, salt and pepper tofu, and cream custard buns. So many flavors that were new to me, and everything was fantastic. Staff was SO friendly and accommodating, too!
Honestly amazing, the reviews are true! I ordered the pan fried dumplings, spicy fried chicken (C3) and the beef noodle soup (M2). Everything is super flavorful, and still hot/crispy even with a long delivery time. Only possible negative was the beef was on the fattier side, but thats a personal pre
Definitely LOVE the place! If you’re from northeastern China and miss the authentic taste, this’s absolutely the go-to-place in Columbus. Just keep in mind that you gotta order the 东北大拉皮 one day ahead of time.
If you can show me another spot as good as this, I will be surprised. I have lived in Columbus all of my life, over 30 years, and I have been to just about every "great" Chinese food ever. Northeast Chinese not only has excellent, fresh tasting food, their prices are more reasonable than anything I'
Tempted to take a star off for unreasonably slow service on Christmas Day (no idea what it’s like on other days), but this place is legit fantastic and inexpensive to boot. Would come a long, long way again (as I did) for authentic and flavorful Northeastern Chinese cuisine.
Ordered takeout from here for the family a few weeks ago. Everything we tried was good. Even my mom was impressed, and she's hard to please. She commented that there was enough wok hei in the dishes.
Friendly staff, fast and very delicious eats. As authentic as you can get in the US. Definitely worth stopping by for lunch, dinner, or to grab your food to go!
Very unique chinese menu that is different from most chinese restaurants. They do offer american favorites like kung pao chicken, general tso's, etc, but I recommend you try the authetic northeastern chinese dishes. Definitely try the hot and sour fern noodle
This is, by far, the best chinese food I have ever had. I have been told that it is probably the most authentic in Columbus. The short rib stew with the pancakes was so good I wished I didn't get full! They say "meal for 2" for the specials when they mean "meal for 4." Just an FYI.
A quaint, rustic oriental place with good food and friendly service. I always have the shrimp lomein with an egg roll and a cola cola. I love it.
