Excellent! Met our family in Columbus, GA (some from ATL area & some from FL) & came in for late lunch/ early dinner. Staff was so friendly & food was deliciously fresh! Generous portions! Amazing sauces / dressings! Will recommend to everyone & we’ll be back!
I really enjoyed the food. My kids complained the pitas were a little hard, and they were. I wish they had broccoli, but was nearly empty and wasn't really a good looking color. I am a huge Gyro fan so this was pretty close to what I grew up with in Europe.
They have a nice downtown vibe. I had the pita with traditional gyro meat. The meat and tzatziki had good flavor. The falafel wasnt quite cooked right. It was a bit over done on the outside and a bit too mushy in the middle. I also thought it was a tad pricey. $15 for a pita, a few falafel bites and a drink. All in all I liked it. The flavors are great. Ill come back for sure.
We were looking for something different for lunch on our way back from PCB. It was a little out of the way but did not disappoint. Greek Fries and Hummus were awesome. Great Atmosphere in Downtown Columbus. Easy accessibility back to the interstate.
Perfect!! I love Traditional Gyro meat..haven't had any since I moved to Columbus in July...this certainly hit the spot and more. I'm very picky and even the baklava was good.
It was the first day and all the employees were nice pleasant, and not one time did I hear 'sorry we just opened'. Everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing. And when I asked a question they got me an answer with a smile. Considering everyone in line had 100 questions and none of the employees got annoyed or fustrated ...not once!not! They were very busy but that did not hurt the quality of the food or the service. I will be back.... tomorrow!!
The food was a little more expensive than the pricing shown online, but it was fresh and tasty. I had a falafel pita, and it was fantastic. I recommend the tzatziki sauce on whatever you get. It was really good! We also really enjoyed sitting outside to eat. The area is really nice, and
I've given it thought on how I could critic this place and nothing could really come to mind. The good things were that the staff are friendly, helpful and very suggestive if you are not sure what to order. The food is amazing and clean too, not greasy but healthy and delicious. I highly recommend the lamb meat for whatever you order. The tea is sweet and fresh- the atmosphere is nice too, they even have outside tables.
So delicious! The line was long but went through it within 10 minutes or so and it's worth it. Ordered a bowl with mixed greens and chicken gyro protein and all the fixings/toppings you could think of! All very fresh, great portions, IMO! I also tried the baklava. My first time ever having it and it was SWEET, but also very delicious! Would deff recommend!
It was very good. I had combination of chicken and plenty vegetables. Very impressive.
This is my first time eating at the simple Greek and I got a lamb gyro. Being from New York, I'm a hard critic because this is one of my favorite dishes but this place has quality ingredients and everything tastes fresh. It was delicious.
Update 8/2018: I was in town and came back to eat here. This time I got a lamb bowl and once again it was delicious. Ran me just under $12 with a drink. This is a great alternative to of any fast food place and a much healthier option.
The employees where knowledgeable about the food and suggested some favorites that people eat there. I ordered a salad bowl with gyro meat, cucumbers, tomatoes, red peppers, with oil/vinegar with the traditional Greek dressing. So delicious! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in
Columbus.
Great taste and everything but I don't like how the one manager just wants to sell you with upcharges without letting you know it's not included. She pushed so many things as tho it was included with what was ordered and then you get the bill when your ready to pay and she gives you a ticket for $30 when you ordered a $15 bowl. We took the appetizers she pushed on us but she just wanted to sell them instead of throw them away at the end of the night. We will be back but may walk out if she is there still. Lol.
