We ate during the restaurant week. $15 menu. We arrived at 7:40 on Saturday night...about a 45 minute wait. But...well worth it! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The only negative (if you even call it that) was the plating could have been a bit more appealing. But, we won't let that stop us from going back. Excellent!!!

This evening was our first time there. We had the Bluewater Oysters, raw oysters and Bluewater Poutine fries as our appetizers. My wife doesn't care much for oysters, but she loves the BW Oysters. Also, the BW Poutine fries are awesome! For dinner we had the Shrimp & Grits and Bluewater Platter (Cajun style). The food was fantastic! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back again!

Worthy of praise. We loved pompanos and are So excited about fresh seafood in Columbus. Dinner tonight was superb. Crab claws, she crab soup, grouper panama, seafood platter, everything was mmmmm mmmmm good! We called ahead for seating and did not have to wait. Our waitress Tasha was exceptional! Also the young girl that seated us was as sweet and polite as can be. Hate I didn’t get her name. Our whole experience was worthy of praise! We will definitely be back and would love to see some of our favorite pompanos dishes...steak pompano, oyster Rockefeller, and seafood Lacoste added to the menue!

So excited to have this gem in Columbus. They opened at 4, and we got there at 4:01. They were ready to serve us with a smile! Chargrilled oysters were mouthwatering! My father in law got a dozen raw and said they were better than the ones in PCB. The Peel and Eat shrimp special was delicious and the happy hour specials made the laid back atmosphere even more appealing to sit and hang out for awhile. We will be back for that key lime pie!

We had a bit of everything from appetizer through dessert and drinks. We ate at the bar to keep from waiting on a table. ALL the food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Only one tiny hiccup and they went above and beyond to remedy that. Pleasantly surprised with the whole experience and will definitely be back. I thought the prices were very reasonable, especially since the entrees include 2 sides, a salad and bread.

Wow, what a fantastic dinner we had tonight at Bluewater Grill. The raw oysters were so fresh and tasty, the grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, fried oysters and fried grouper were all delicious and so fresh. Love the decor, the framed old photos of days gone by in Florida makes you feel like you are in Florida instead of Columbus!

Dont be discouraged by location. Food hear is fantastic and service was excellent. We had Robin as our waiter, he was very knowledgable and helpful. We got cheese curds to start with, they were good, but not fresh Midwest cheese curd good. Also got a cup of gumbo, my wife says it was amazing. For dinner we both got fried fish and chips. Was a little underwhelmed at the size of the three pieces of fish. What it lacked in size though, was instantly change with the flavor. They used grouper and the breading was some of the best I've had. The fries were good but nothing really special. Overall, a great experience.

Don't let the location fool you! Great spot for seafood. Our server Ginger was amazing. Delightful to have. The sauteed blue crab claw are a must. Ordered the whole snapper and the cajun sampler. Everything was very good. Highly recommend

Hidden behind a Chevron, did not stop this little seafood restaurant from packing them in. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive making sure to check in on us many times throughout our meal. I tried Anita’s chicken which I found tasty and juicy, I even had enough to take home for lunch. I would recommend this as a locals spot.

This place has wonderful service, and food. Next to a gas station…no problem. Best place I’ve eaten in a long while. Everything fresh and prepared as they said it would be. Also, I am allergic to shell fish but the waitress got with kitchen and it’s no problem either. They have separate equipment that they don’t cook shellfish on or in.

This place is incredible! The hostess Jennifer is the epitome of Southern hospitality, with the most warm and welcoming spirit. The waitresses are the attentive and personable. The food is amazing! We’ve been here two days in a row, the alligator is perfect and the She Crab soup is so warm and delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Excellent restaurant on the side of a gas station. But wait before you judge. Some of the best seafood in town. The gumbo was so delicious. Stop by, you won't be disappointed
