Delicious! It's a special treat for me and my hubby every now and then since it's a little pricy for us . We love the place and food every time .

It's different but not my favorite sandwich place. I remember the location they had on Cody Rd (now University Ave.) back in the 80's. There are not many vegetarian options; they do have a veggie burger. There are no vegan options. I've never seen a sub place not offer a veggie sub. You either like the steamed subs or not. I have one friend that calls Momma G's 'home of the soggy sandwich'. He doesn't like steamed subs I guess! You have to get an employee behind the counter to get you ice for your drink refills. I don't know why they just don't have ice at the drink dispenser like everybody else. This particular location is also very dark inside. The decor is ok but it's dark. One way parking lot but lots of spaces.

Would probably give it no stars if I could. We've eaten here on a few different occasions trying to give it a chance. You call in the order, never ready when you get there even though you give them longer they say. Next, you call and ask questions, they take orders while on the phone and get rude. Go in and eat in, you're the only one in the restaurant, still takes 15-20 minutes to get your sandwich. I do not recommend this location. Love Momma Goldberg's though.

I use to love Momma Goldberg's but over the years it has changed. My kids do not like their kids meals and while I can order them a half sandwich, I am adding for the combo. My biggest complaint is we pay too much for a family to eat there.

I have been eating at Mamma G's for nearly 10 years. It started on my visits to Auburn, AL.... to visit friends....now we have 2 locations in my home town of Columbus, GA. Food is always fresh and better...new food designs and surprises seems to be a weekly occurrence. Love the super cool, kind, laid back...yet fast working crew. Its hard not to engage in deep conversation because of the intelligent and professionalism of the employees...If i seem bias its because I love this place. Give it a try and see why for yourself. Thanks for the long read.

This used to be a really good place, but it obviously changed hands and has gone downhill. I have been in there 3 times in the last 2 weeks and they not had enough soup, I finally decided to get sandwiches and the sandwiches are squashed flat. They never have enough to make the sandwiches right lately, and they're always out of something. I've been coming here for several years, many times a week, and it's just gotten where I refuse to come to this location anymore because they're always out of something and then it's just not good like it used to be to pay for it. But I do completely love the staff, they are great and I'm sad that the food just isn't good anymore.

Used to be great place to go for lunch. But now with new management is not so much. Tried going 2 days ago and they was out of dressing for salads, breads for different sandwiches. Yet didnt know non of this supposedly till i had ordered and paid.

Moms goldbergs is one of my absoulte favorite places to eat. However the last 3 visits I have gone there around 2 in the afternoon and it takes approximately 20 minutes to get your food. Even if your the only one in the store the employees would rather worry about what they are doing vs getting the customers food first. The employees need to be properly trained.
