I’ve always enjoyed eating here and the food has been great. I decided to stop in on Saturday and I ordered a 10” veggie pizza. I swapped out olives, mushrooms and artichoke hearts for jalapeños, pepperocini peppers and spinach since I don’t like those veggies. When I got my bill I had an extra charge. I asked my server and she said it was cause I subbed veggies. Huh?! All 3 veggies I substituted were the regular ones and not premium or ultimate ones. I can see getting charged for say fresh basil, mozzarella or sun dried peppers or say a meat. I’ve never been charged at other pizza places when I’ve subbed out veggies for veggies. I do wish I’d been given a heads’ up that there’d be an extra charge for swapping out vegetables.

I’m from out of town and my town only has big corporate chain pizza...I wish we had this place. High quality food with friendly fast service all for a reasonable price. Being voted best pizza 7 times in a row means something. Come and get this pizza and perfectly cooked buffalo wings as soon as you possibly can!

I wish I could give this place a better review, but... First my parents ordered 2 orders of jalapeno poppers and they only brought 1 out and my dad had to remind them 2 times about the 2nd order. My parents also ordered a pizza with extra onions and they put extra everything and was hard for them to eat all the extra jalapeno's and black olives. I ordered a calzone and and when the plate came to me, my calzone was sitting in a pool of liquid and was room temperature. I had to put it on 2 papertowels to soak it up. My niece ordered baked ziti and she said the bottom had watery liquid in it and tasted bad. I am one that is very honest in my reviews and HATE given bad ones, so it sucks for me to write this.
EDIT:
Hi Brent, since I do not think I can reply to your comment (cant find a reply button), I had to edit my review. We were there on Saturday the 26th around 7:30 would be my guess. My parents paid for the bill which had the pizza, 2 orders of poppers, 2 calzones, and the baked ziti on it.

Took my new Girl friend to CJ's for some pizza and Garlic Knots last week and WOW was it good. Best Pizza I've had in a long time. Then went to another place and while the Pizza was good, the personal touch just wasn't the same. CJ's is the only place for good times and Pizza all rolled into one. And the beer was cold too.

I can remember numerous times throughout my life when I used to go to Cj's and have an amazing experience every single time. However, the last 2 to 3 years have just been downhill for the place, and over the last 8 months our 3 visits weren't very good at all. The first 2 times the staff were just messing around with each other and slacking off instead of making sure customers were taken care of. That in its self isn't a huge deal but the second time we had a problem with how the food came out and the server never came and checked in or even took notice.
The last time we came the food wasn't awful but it took forever, and we ended up just having to eat at home. We arrived at around 6:30-ish and didn't get our food until around 7:30. We were the only people dining in. Nobody told us what was up, or gave us an update. I think the manager was the bearded fella at the bar, and he didn't say a word, not an apology or anything. I work in food service, and I get that sometimes things are just slow, but I at least expect a check up, or an estimate from somebody.
We have been repeat customers for years, but I guess that eventually you have to give a place up, especially when it seems like all they do is make excuses for themselves about why they are subpar in responses to reviews. At some point you have to stop blaming the pandemic for the problems your having, and make some changes in management or something. However I don't think this will happen.

Always had a great experience at CJ’s. Great owners and servers. There’s time that the wait time is little longer but that was because they only have one waitress running and place was pack, so it’s very understandable. My family love CJ’s. Their spaghetti meatballs is to die for.

We love CJs! We have always gotten delicious pizzas and salads! The rock and roll is our favorite! They hold a special place for us because we ate there after our engagement and they made a special heart pizza for us. Then they catered our rehearsal dinner which was perfect and fun!

Well....this USE to be a nice place to eat, but it has really gone down here lately. All they have is teenagers running the place. We saw the manager and owner sitting at a table outside conversing, laughing, having a good time it seemed, instead of seeing about their restaurant inside. The man who sat in front of us kept complaining about how long the wait was for his pizza, then after he got it, complained about it being burnt! We waited a long time for our food too...and they were not busy at all.. I didn't even get my drink after my family got theirs. Had to ask for it. Unsweetened tea tasted spoiled, sent it back for a diet coke instead. Of course, the little waitress looked to be about 13 years old, so I tried to overlook it. And then came the food....pizza was fine, and we got lasagna and spaghetti...I believe it was cooked from frozen, and it was very watery! Not even hot. Edge of lasagna looked freezer burnt. Tasted like it too. The garlic bread was better than the entree. Sooo sad, it use to be a good place, but now a big thumbs down for me. I think Chef Gordan Ramsey should show up there, lol.
