Shimai's isn't your typical sushi joint. Don't expect authentic, top of the line sushi my friends. It's a small little "bistro" nestled in a huge business park in the City of Carson. One of the only decent lunch places around. While I personally don't eat sushi, I hear from everyone else that it is not bad. I do like their curry bowls or udon.
Everyone who gives below five stars is lame and don't appreciate a good sushi place, I have been coming to Shimai for years I love the people here it's cheap and it's really good I been to other places like wokano and niko niko and they don't compare to this place 100% 🎉
Awesome sushi! And very big and filling. I love coming here to eat.
They pulled my fish out of a bag i can buy at the supermarket for 3 dollars and of course it tasted that cheap. I cant go back to this place.
