This edition of Excited about Eating takes us to Carolina Ale House, a sports bar and grill that boasts over 50 TV’s located in the busy Concord Mills Mall area. This family friendly place has an extensive menu featuring wings, burgers, tacos, pizza and much more. Dora here. When we first moved to this area, we were disappointed at the lack of sports pubs. That changed when Carolina Ale House came on scene, and we especially like that they offer tables and booths separate from the bar area, which makes it great for families.
delicious margaritas and Caesar salads. Friendly staff and quick service. Patio setup is cool and I love that there's a bar outside. Major improvement in staff since opening. Desirre and Katelynn best servers hands down
Just finished a great meal on a packed Friday night and the service was excellent. Nothing like the previous reviews I read.

The food is great, friendly staff but a little bit slow although that's understandable because it's due to the lack of personnel. There are two nice pool tables in there along with good music. Nice environment vibes. I will suggest staying away from cocktails and just doing beer.
We had a great experience with the friendly staff and the food was tasty. There are plenty of choices for adult beverages, appetizers, and entrees. The atmosphere was nice and had a little buzz. But for some reason they didn't have a military discount which would have been the icing on the cake in the good old US of A.
This was my first visit to Carolina Ale House. This sportsbar theme restaurant has a pool table, darts and multiple flat screen TV to watch sports. I ordered spinach dip with pita bread, Buffalo wings (half spicy, half garlic) and fried pickles. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The spinach dip was life changing. Especially since I don't usually like spinach dip. The fried pickles sooth my craving for pickles. This restaurant is definitely worthy of another trip. The staff were friendly and the food arrived within decent time. Everything was delicious 😋 from start to finish.🍲🧆🥘🍗👌🏿
My husband, our friend, and I ate yesterday at Carolina Ale House. I encouraged them to go there because we are all following a healthy eating program and I was sure we would be able to choose the foods as part from our program. And we did. And it was delicious! We were able to order a double patty burger with only the items that we wanted on it and enjoyed an amazing cesar salad, and we drank water! We had a wonderful time with our two servers (one was in training) and they were very kind to help us keep on our program!! We would definitely go back!!
Good food, Great drinks, nice atmosphere. Could add a little more variety to the music selection. I love all genre but please mix it up a lil to suit your patrons. A lil Michael Jackson, Prince, Bruno, Luke Bryan wouldn't hurt
I’ve been here often and the energy, food, and staff is always great! On this visit, me and my boyfriend shared the beer-battered cheese curds with the red pepper jam. The red pepper jam is sooooo good! (We we’re starving and started scarfing it down ASAP so I don’t have a picture, sorry lol)
We each got a meal also. He got the Buffalo chicken sandwich with the beer-battered fries. This is his go-to meal from here and he enjoyed it as always. He just said it was a tad overcooked this time but it wasn’t a big deal at all. I had gotten the steakhouse burger with no mushrooms with a side of beer-battered fries. I really enjoyed the burger and it was cooked just how I asked… no complaints!
We then ordered the macked out doughnuts & took it to-go since we were stuffed. It was decent but a bit underwhelming in our opinion. This visit was a great experience overall though!
