The service is southern hospitality at it’s finest and food is delicious and a refreshing new taste I haven’t had before. We got the bbq sandwich, onion rings and red slaw (has a kick that I liked)! Can’t wait to come back and try the bbq bowls and other items on the menu! Prices are affordable and it’s a great place for family.

We had the BBQ sandwich with white slaw and it was huge! Had to use a fork for some of it. Fried okra was very good. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. On a previous visit we had hot dogs and onion rings, highly recommend both! If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing out. Can’t wait to go back. Staff and atmosphere was great too!

Everything we ordered was delicious! Most importantly, our picky 8 year old tried the fried okra and liked it! Our table had burgers, wraps, BBQ and chicken. Not to mention the yummy mac and cheese and fried okra. Friendly, knowledgeable staff as well. Can't wait to return!

Food and service were off the charts!!! We brought our 10 month old in there and the staff not only gave him stickers and goodies, they held and played with him too. Since this is so close to my house and the food is good, I went and head bought a larger size of pants bc it's gonna be a long summer on the belt line .

My family and I have ate here twice now. We’ve ate at the restaurant and we have had it to go. Our experience dining in was quite pleasant. All the servers were extremely friendly and checked on us often. Even the cooks came out and talked to us. My husband got the large barbecue plate with mac & cheese and baked beans. He had plenty of food and it was relatively affordable compared to some of the BBQ joints around here. I got the blackened chicken wrap with mac & cheese and it was fantastic. My daughter had a hotdog and even that was better than your typical hot dog! We went during the week around 3 in the afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. We overall really enjoyed the food and service. Now, since I want to be completely honest, my “to-go” order experience was a little different than the first visit. It was on a weekday, around 6:30 pm. I called my order in on the phone and was told it would be about 15 min. When I first pulled up, there was only one parking space open, so I knew it was going to be busy inside. There was a scattered line where I couldn’t really tell if people were waiting to order or just waiting on food. There was some commotion going on behind the counter, several workers talking and doing things but no one was really at the register. I just stood behind a woman and hoped I was in the right spot. Finally, someone started taking orders again. That cashier walked away to do something after the woman in front of me ordered. A few min later, another girl just kind of looked at me blank faced and I told her I was picking up an order. She never smiled, seemed overwhelmed or irritated. I told her my name, she looked on the counter where I assume orders are placed and she told me it wasn’t ready yet. I told her I still needed to pay. She never really told me what I needed to do so I stood there. Another girl overheard my name and told me that they were out of baked beans. Then, a man that I assume was the owner explained why they were out of beans. He was very polite and asked me if I needed all sorts of things as he continued to bag up my order. The previous cashier came back over and rang me up. I truly appreciated the owner being so friendly and transparent. My order was fresh, as they were still making it while I was in line. I ordered some fries instead of mac & cheese this time, and they were soggy when I got home. I don’t fault the restaurant for that. I typically don’t get fries to go because they usually are soggy after sitting in a box so it was my own fault. I still give this place a 5 star because I understand they are new and working on some things. The overall experience we have had has been great. The food is amazing and the prices are cheap. I highly recommend it.

Our first time here. Onion rings are legit; you can tell they are freshly made and not frozen. Burgers were good and tasty. The breakup sundae (pictured) was fantastic.

So was in the mood for burgers and decided to give them a try. Wents with the GOAT burger which is said to be their best rated burger. Beef, goat cheese, candied bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and fried onion frizzles with Cajun aioli sauce. Overall a decent burger. Good flavor, big with a soft Bun. Enjoyed it with their homeade battered onion rings. Wish their onion rings came with the aioli sauce to dunk and had some salt seasoning. Sweet tea was terrible, but exchanged it for a cheerwine. Great service. 👍 maybe next time I will try the BBQ.

Delicious! Was looking for a locally owned non-chain restaurant off the Concord Mills exit. A feat much harder than you'd think. Found this treasure. Burgers were fresh and awesome, sides we're great and the Fat Boyz homemade barbeque sauce was incredible. Not a syrupy sweet mess but a great balance of spice and acidity from the vinegar. (Mouth is drooling over just the thought of it now.) None in my family actually had the BBQ but thats the plan next time we're in the area at Concord Mills, Great Wolf Lodge or the Race track. Perfect alternative to the overpriced Sysco frozen food of Great Wolf Lodge by the way. I'd strongly recommend someone running just a couple miles down the road from GWL to pick up lunch for the family carry-out next time you're at the Lodge. Service was great too. Attentive and you can see they care deeply about their customers as a growing small business. Bravo!! (2022 update:. Took a large group to Johnny Roger's for lunch before some go karting at the outlet. Still great. Seating is tricky with a larger group but there were picnic benches outside that helped. Also noticed a 100.0% on the sanitation rating. Nice.)

My partner and I came here on a whim because we both like barbecue, and when I tell you I have been searching for coleslaw this good since I moved in January 2022. The staff are polite and quick, the atmosphere is cozy, and it's a wonderful place!
