Review Hungry Bear Steakhouse - Condon

Great hospitality and warm atmosphere! Delicious brioche buns on their burgers. Some the best I have tasted! I also highly recommend their Steak fries,, Beer Cheese soup, Cowboy Prime sandwich, and the Prime Rib. The rib sells out quickly so get there at 5ish when they start serving it. Super fun place to hangout if you are in the area!

Everytime my family goes to Kalispell we make sure to stop off here. The clam chowder is our favorite and the salid bar allows us a good variety. The restaurant's environment is very appeasing and going in the summer is always a joy because you can eat and watch the hummingbirds. The staff is almost always pleasant and the prices are very reasonable. This year when we went it was apparent that Covid-19 hit hard, limiting tourist travel and income. When we return to Kalispell we are all looking forward to stopping by.

Best omelette ever! All part s of our breakfast excellent! Service by Jenny excellent! Decor appealing rustic, large, lots of windows with views of nature, including deer in the back yard. A restaurant since the 1970's, we definitely plan to get by there again while in Montana. Highly recommend!

We've eaten here twice. Service is good. Menu is impressive, but the food preparation hasn't measured up. For dinner, prime rib was good quality meat cooked well, but drowned in a very salty au jus. Not sure why the salad and baked potato are served on such tiny plates. For lunch, the pepperjack burger was overcooked, had too much sweet bbq sauce and a bunch of unexpected jalapenos. I plan to eat here again, but will ask for correction of these things. With better flavor balance, this could be an outstanding meal.

A great meal at a family owned business. Food and service was great. We will definitely eat here again.

There is no steak on the menu....service is horrible. This place should just close down, or change the name. Place looks nice but the service we received was beyond poor. Waited for a drink but walked out after 10 minutes....for the record, we were the only people in the restaurant at 5pm. I would recommend they shut this place down and reconsider opening once they have trained staff, that can wait on the customers

Fun little gem of a restaurant if you are passing through. Beautiful and rustic inside and out. We had delicious breakfast sandwiches on the patio surrounded by trees.
