Large portions, flavorful, distinctly different dishes! (Meaning not all foos tastes the same!) They have burgers to steaks to fish and pasta!Very accommodating and freshly prepared! Get appetizers for the table and share because they are big. It’s a bit small inside so reserve a table for parties larger than 4, we did and had excellent service and food! Great addition to Conway!

I had lunch here today with my mom and a friend. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I’m looking forward to having dinner when they start the dinner service.

By far the best turkey melt sandwich I’ve ever had. I opted for the sweet potato fries as my side and was not disappointed. They were plump and delicious. By the time I eat the fries and sandwich I only had room for the crème brûlée for dessert. Yummy! Their dessert options change so I was not able to take any pictures of a dessert menu. Waiter ran through a list of desserts for me. They all sound delicious. He did tell me they usually have the chocolate cake and a pecan cheesecake as regulars. I’ll definitely be going back!
Absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! What an amazing dining experience. The food was outstanding. Fresh and fabulous. The building is wonderful. The food here is fresh and farm to table. The service was EXCELLENT! Patty was our server and she was wonderful! Her knowledge of the menu and suggestions helped me to pick an amazing meal! (Encrusted flounder and a salad with freshly grilled peaches!) The GM Keith stopped by to check on the table. (Way to go Keith). I love seeing managers come check on the guests! Even the hostesses were friendly and engaging. Do yourself a favor, come eat here. This is a local place that makes any chain restaurant pale in comparison! Support local!! (As always. Don't forget to TIP your servers!. They work hard to make your dining experience a great one!) We will be back. Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience!

Crooked Oak Tavern is the best steakhouse in the Conway area. They serve some of the best beef in Horry County. It was remodeled in the last year and the new bar although hidden away in the back is one of the nicest you will find. The servers and bartenders here always have great suggestions for first timers or picky eaters and are always in the best moods. Recently I went in with my fiancé and best friend and we ordered the Red Deer from New Zealand, Kangaroo from Australia, and I got the 22oz medium rare Cowboy Ribeye with a coffee crust. Everything we tried was amazing but I think my fiancés deer took the cake. Never have I had such a tender and flavorful cut of venison we will certainly be back to try more. From affordable Burgers off the Happy hour menu all the way to high end Porterhouses they have it all here. Absolutely would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great steak or to celebrate a special occasion!

Their SHRIMP & GRITS are AMAZING! The flavor of the sauce is just perfect, and the shrimp are so fresh. I'm a Southerner who loves to cook and eat grits, and these are hands down THE BEST. EVER. This item seemed pricey, but you get what you pay for. Everything at Crooked Oak really is phenomenal! The bar is the perfect bar, and the servers are personal and attentive. I'd give 'em 10 stars if I could. Love this place and these people. Best restaurant in Conway and Myrtle Beach area...possibly even in South Carolina.
Came here tonight with a few of my neighbors and we were not disappointed. Our server Rico was fantastic and definitely made our night even more fun. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We will absolutely be back.
Always delicious! Dinner is pricey but you get what you pay for. Lunch is very reasonable and also delicious. This visit I got the fried Dijon flounder sandwich and my husband got the roasted beet and goat cheese salad. Both were delicious. Another one of my personal favorites is the roasted vegetable pita sandwich. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining and is always a positive and enjoyable dining experience.

absolutely incredible!! We had the porterhouse steakhouse, medium. This cut paired with Cooper & Thief red blend really brings out the flavor of the steak. I also recommend the pimento crab dip appetizer, it is so good just writing this is making my mouth water. I am so impressed with the service and the atmosphere is exceptional!! Special thanks to our server Jaret and the manager Keith for creating such a memorable evening for me! I totally recommend for date night or special celebrations!!

Our waitress Kathleen was amazing. The burger was good, we didn't care for the children salad because it has too much onion. We liked the pecan cheese cake! Great drink selection.
We went to walk around downtown Conway. We had Trixie with us so was looking for a dog friendly patio. We found crooked oak tavern. We had amazing cocktails, food and the service by Jameson was beyond perfect.
I loved this restaurant! Not only was it clean and atmospheric, but the food was delicious, especially their pasta and Reese’s cheesecake, and I really liked the cocktail I had. We had a server named Rico who served us really well, helped us decide what we wanted and made us feel welcome. One of my favorite things about the service was when my date and I told Rico we were on a second date, and Rico unexpectedly brought out complimentary glasses of champagne/wine for us. It was so neat! Definitely a class-act establishment. Highly recommend!!🥂✨
Went to Crooked Oak Tavern for the first time. Had heard great things but it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the Maryland Crab Cake Sandwich, Turkey Cheddar Jack Melt, and the Roasted Vegetable Pita Sandwich. Great portion sizes, fresh ingredients, and so delicious. Our FAVORITE part of the experience was the server, Hailey, who was a pure delight! Her smiling face, friendly demeanor, and attention to our needs was top notch! All in all, we left with full, satisfied, and happy. We will be back!!
First time here and I will definitely be back! Everything was awesome…from our server, Whit, to our meals and the sweet tea!! The pulled chicken bbq was absolutely delicious!! It is a sandwich but I didn’t get the bread. It was on a bed of slaw with onion strings on top…all I can say is, “WOW!” I wanted to get a to order it again to take home!! My daughter got the southwestern burger and to say she loved it would be an understatement…pretty sure she ate it in two bites!! Thank you for a great first experience!
I wish I could give this restaurant 10+ stars! Everything was amazing! My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and there was a card on the table from the restaurant wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Then our wonderful server, Alicia, came by to greet us with a complimentary champagne toast! Alicia was super friendly and attentive. My husband and I shared the porterhouse which was cooked to perfection. We finished our delicious meal with the pecan pie cheesecake. We really didn’t leave room for dessert, but we just had to try it…and I’m glad we did! The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere made for a beautiful, memorable anniversary dinner. We can’t wait to go back!
The staff here go the Xtra mile to enhance your experience. The food is terrific, if you like scallops, the diver scallops were huge and delicious. Have had just about everything on the menu and never disappointed. Bar tender Phil Brown is the best in town!
The server I had was very kind, there was also who I can only assume was a busser that went above and beyond to compensate my uncle and me. We didn't try any of the food, we sat in the speakeasy-esque bar area in the far back and despite only ordering drinks they were very accommodating. I wish I had asked their names to leave a better review. My only complaint was the cost of the drinks and the cost of the food that I saw on the menu but I suppose I can't expect much else from such a high end restaurant.
