Great atmosphere and great food. Always have an amazing time there and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Every burger I have had there is out of this world,, best burgers on Myrtle Beach hands down.
My boyfriend and I are from upstate New York and we met some friends at Tongy's. We ordered "The Bear" burger, which was a fat burger with mushrooms, onions, cheeses and lettuce. The flavor of the burger was superb and was cooked just to our liking. It was so juicy that I was thankful for the dispenser of napkins on the table. The manager Brandon is a sweetheart (not to mention a very nice looking sweetheart) who walked around to all the tables and socialized and made sure everything was good; he even brought our food to the table. Way to go Tongy's!!

Tongy's is like that one girl who no matter how much you do wrong in the relationship always welcomes you back with open arms the next day. You tell her you're gonna stop drinking forever then you're back for happy hour the next day skulling beers like the world's gonna end tomorrow. Tongy's is all the best parts of college thrown into one space. One part debauchery, one part rugby players who you still aren't sure are even taking classes, townies who probably shouldn't be there, people who think they can beat up the bouncers, copious amounts of alcohol, sexy college coeds, way too many capitals fans, and everything else that you would want from a quality college bar. Equal parts love and equal parts testosterone filled hatred. That's why Tongy's will forever deserve a 5 star rating.
Moved nearby about a year ago. Been saying we were going to try this place for months. Last night we finally did. My husband and I both ordered burger with onion rings. They were nothing short of fantastic. Price for the amount food you get is excellent. My only complaint is that I tried to call to order for take out and nobody answered the phone. The friendly waitress informed me they are working on a system so they know the phone is ringing on busy nights. This place was packed with college students. I had one beer while I waited, food came out pretty quick. Will definitely be back.

Sunday lunch got us stopping at this college sports bar located in a strip mall. At first glance, we weren’t certain if it was open and/or still in business. Exterior has darkened windows that give the impression that the place is empty. Once inside, we found an open floor plan with a cement floor, industrial look with exposed ductwork overhead, bar, pool tables, flat screen TVs and a small bandstand. The norm for any bar and grill. Furnishings had seen their better days as padded high chairs were ripped and torn, batting exposed, table tops scratched and worn. But overall, the place seemed clean. Bathrooms are not for the faint of heart. Menu offers a better selection of pub grub with unique names and descriptions for appetizers, sandwiches, wraps and burgers. Our “ROGUE TACOS” came with the following tagline: “These tacos, like JAWS swim alone, 3 fish tacos with beer battered fish, pico de gallo, lettuce, and cheese. Topped with a chipotle lime drizzle served inside warm flour tortillas. Feel free to substitute shrimp. Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun dun dun-dun-dun.” We were more than happy with the ample amount of grilled fish in each, topped with flavorful, fresh ingredients and nicely presented with two sauces and a side. Our side of mac was cheesy, creamy with larger size elbow macaroni. Menu prices are more than reasonable and if are looking for good food over ambiance-well, just to remind you this is a sports bar.

Delicious food and a fun, lively atmosphere. The veggie wrap was surprisingly delicious, and my wife loved her burger. The homemade sides were fantastic too. Great spot for a meal!

You must get the burgers from Tongys they are the best! They have the best atmosphere to watch sports if you’re into sports bars, and they also can accommodate large groups.
Tongy's never disappoints! It has become our Go-Too Burger Bar. Absolutely the Best Burgers in Myrtle Beach! Our waitress, the beautiful Miss "T" is amazing. She serves us each week with her gorgeous smile & bubbly personality. We've been to Tongy's so often, T knows exactly what we want & how we want it cooked. Can't get a better meal for a cheaper price anywhere! Their Happy Hour prices are unbeatable!
Great food, burgers, wings and buffalo dip! Prices are very low, especially for eat in lunch! prices and friendly service. It is a bar, so there is always that element, but no smoke smell when you go in! Which is a plus for me! Highly reccommend!
Went it during the day to pick up food, and the place was empty. Which is expected. The 2 girls working were really nice and the food came out really fast.
Regan was absolutely the sweetest person! We were there for a college tour for my daughter, Raegan, and she was so welcoming and talked to her a lot about Coastal. Several other students were there and all came up and talked. We are so glad we decided to eat there! Great place!
All of our food was delicious! Buffalo chicken dip and mac and cheese were our faves.
Truly a diamond in the rough great food, great prices. Could use a renovation on the inside but other than that I have no complaints. Would definitely go here more regularly if it wasn't a two and a half hour drive.

T is the great server. We go there once a week. She knows what we eat, how we like it prepared, and what we like to drink. I've nerver had a server like that.

When we do choose to go out to eat, we go somewhere we haven’t been to yet. Tongy’s wasn’t our first choice but this is where we ended up and I’m so glad we did. Great food. Great service. And great atmosphere.
