Sushi is pretty good and the bento box is such a bargain with hibachi, tempura, and sushi for $13. The decor and setting could be better, but I know there is a new location being built. Can't wait!!!

Cool spot... Very unassuming as it looks like a warehouse... but prices good... food good... only thing that keeps it from being 5 STARS is the furniture and portions of food.... could be more.

Great food great service. The hibachi show was good and interesting. It's a little hard to find if you don't know the area well. We had a bit of a wait to be seated due to how busy they were but it was well worth it. I recommend you give this place a try when in he area. You won't be disappointed. Request the hibachi.

The sushi was good , the service was awful we sat for 15 mins before anyone ever took our drink order , when we finally got the food my husband had a hair in his , I am a server myself ,so I try to be understanding, but this was our first time and definitely will be our last , Nagoya Japanese steakhouse 8 minutes down the access road is SOOOOO much better

If you don't mind the wait is definitely worth it. I'm excited about their new place, hopefully it will be easier to get in and out of. I do remember when the owner first opened this place it was a tiny Diner Style with four or five tables with mismatched chairs. I'm excited for the owner to made it as far as he did in his business. I know him personally and he deserves it.

I have been to quite a few Habachi restaurants and this is still by far the best! Prices are very reasonable for a family of 5 and the food is excellent! The chefs are amazing and really cater towards your experience! Highly recommend!

Great food and service.. My family and I visited a little over a week ago And enjoyed the food from the hibachi grill. The chef was nice and the waitresses were very nice.<br/>The prices were excellent And the portions of food were good.....<br/>I will be back And make this a regular place for me and my family....

ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE IT !!!!. My daughter & her husband took my husband and I to eat here about 3 weeks ago & it was awesome .....the food was the best that I have ate in a very long time ....Now my hubby wants to be taken here for his birthday Sunday out of all the places between Athens ; Covington ; Conyers ; Monroe etc ..... so evidentially they must be doing something right lol bc he is very picky :) also has the best Calamari around ..... excellent ; perfect service along with the cook being a comedian which is a Plus :))))))))))))

Great Sushi. My wife and I have been regular customers for three years and have never gotten a bad meal. We eat sushi if it's just the two of us, but sit at a table with friends who don't like sushi. They have never gotten a bad meal either. The service is from good to excellent, not once has it been poor. There almost always is a wait for hibachi in the evening, but we sit at the sushi bar any night with no wait. I guess any restaurant can have a bad night, therefore the negative reviews, but I think of the 90 to 100 times we've been there, the odds are overwhelming that at least one of those times would have been bad. There has not been one of those experiences. That tells me that some reviewers are lying, or very unfortunate.

We will never go here again!<br/>We waited 15 minutes for habachi and two other families were sat before us. When we questioned this the girl who worked there yelled at us and them slammed the menu on the table.<br/><br/>When we asked to speak to her mgr, we were told he or the asst mgr were not there. Long story short, bad attitude, disrespect and horrible demeanor from a restaurant employee = a customer who walks out of the door.

Cold food. We live very close to Tokyo and eat in and pick-up to go fairly often. Tonight we ordered three hibachi meals: chicken, shrimp, and filet minion. Everything was COL D! I have never seen such a small order of shrimp-size and amount! And they were so overcooked they were hard! I called to let them know how disappointed we were and the woman I spoke with was very rude! Close and convenient does not matter, we will never be back!

Tokyo is a great place to eat decent, quick, and cheap Japanese food in the Conyers/Covington area. The standard menu is a simple selection of your choice of protein served with rice, miss soup, and salad. The sushi menu is small and the rolls unimpressive. The main attraction to this restaurant is the hibachi grill area. It offers the same menu as the dining room, but offers you the chance to sit near the constant barrage of birthday parties and the enjoyment of watching cooks with no sense of showmanship. Tokyo is good for a quick fix, but don't expect to be blown away.

Love it!. We love Tokyo, we go once a week on average. It's is an EXCELLENT price for Japanese food and it's very accessible. Even when they are busy (which they are on the weekends) the wait isn't typically too long unless you insist on Hibachi. <br/><br/>The sushi is good and the regular meals are good. The two of us can get out of there for less than $30 most of the time.

Good food and FAST!. Tokyo is good Japanese food without all the frills. I love meeting a friend for lunch here because we can get in and out in under an hour. You do have the option to sit at the hibachi tables if you wish, but most of the time I just want to eat and go without the hibachi "show". I have also ordered to-go food and it was fresh and ready when it was promised.

Great Sushi. Loved their Sushi, we sat up at the Sushi Bar an were served right away. Big fat slices of Tuna, YUM! Good Wasabi too.

Poor Choice. Worst dining experience in my life. My wife and I made reservations for 20 people two days prior to eat. Once we got there, we had to wait an additional 45 minutes, while they seated others (walk ins) ahead of us (the ones with reservations). Once seated we waited another 20-25 mintues and not one came to take our drink orders or greet us. Finally, a busboy comes in and passes out the menus (without taking any drink orders or aplogizing etc). I complained to the "manager" several times and she offered no apologies or explainations. We eventually left and went to a nearby restaurant (Arizona's) and had a great dining experience with little wait and excellent food.

Noodles. I love noodles, hard to find outside of the big city though. I tried their Ramen (not the real name) noodles, which were spicy and awesome. Will be back for some Udon and more Ramen!

Can't Get Enough. I love Tokyo. I cannot say this enough. It makes sushi accessible to those who don't want to pay a fortune to eat it. I enjoy their spicy tuna roll the most. If you don't want avocado in it though, you have to make sure to say so. Although the menu says it comes with cucumbers, they always put avocado in it unless I specifically ask them not to. If you want awesome sushi and hibachi for cheap, dine in or order here!

A hole in the wall... This place is in the weirdest locations ever..but once you go in you can see how huge it really is..their portions are good and very clean and friendly atmosphere

Really like this place. I always sit at the sushi bar and it is normally the same two chefs preparing my sushi. They are so nice and normally do a great job, but i must say that I have only gotten the cooked rolls or the vegetable rolls so i haven't tried their raw fish. Good prices on their regular Japanese menu of which EVERYTHING i have ordered has been DELICIOUS!

LC 2010. I have visited tokyo express three times since i founf out about it four months ago i tried the habchi twice which i really like and i tried just sitting at the table once and the food just doesnt taste the same to ill continue doing the habachi. The price is extremley reasonable and the service was good so i will continue going there Must try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service was bad most the ppl were rude. The dressing on the salad is watery and you can't subsitute anything. Food tasted great though and an excellent price However your served at a diff time then the rest of whoever your with. I'd reccomend paying a little extra for amazing food and service and go to Nagoya!!

Good for entree and fried rice but their sushi is sub-par. The seaweed they use is not of the best quality and the fish does not taste very fresh. Good, but not the best I've ever had. Go to I love sushi for the best.

Great food! Excellent service!. I love Tokyo Hibachi. It is a great price if you want Japanese food without the "show". And if you do want the show, you can have that too in the back of the restaurant. The food is always excellent and cheaper than other Japanese steakhouses. Definitely try it!! Also there's one in Monroe now.
