We’ve been to the Big Bear for many years and have never left disappointed. Last visit had the cajun rainbow trout - very tasty. The Caesar salad to start was very good - not overly dressed and the homemade croutons superb. The grilled vegetable sandwich is huge, decent flavour. A little more grill
We went on Friday afternoon during happy hour. I guess because it is summer time there were a lot of families and big groups waiting to be seated. Since we were just 2 , we had a booth right away. Great restaurant, very friendly service and the best Cajun Fries ever. We started with the Breakfast Pizza/excellent then the Bear Burger/very good, the Brew Pub Burger/very good and the Turkey Club/very good all with Cajun Fries.
The Muenster beer cheese soup never disappoints! Everything we've tried has been delicious and the staff is always pleasant. The creme brulee is sooooo good, I don't normally get dessert but I can't pass up a chance to get it when I visit.
We loved the lively atmosphere and great happy hour prices on wine and margaritas. Also had the best Cosmo in town. The Oktoberfest menu is fun to try, but not a fan of the red cabbage or sauerkraut.
We had prime rib and burgers. The prime rib was ok but for the price not bad. All the burgers were good and tasty. The dark beer was flavorful. Service was very good for a busy Thursday. I would recommend.
Food was great; the issue I had was that there was an item on the menu not available because they ran out, and the dern AC moisture kept dripping on me. The creme brulee was EVERYTHING!!! Poprock Martini was Dee-licious..

Been a long time since I had eaten here. I love this place, the food, and the service is top notch. Lindsey is hands down the best server I've ever had. Prime rib was the best I've had in a long time. The brie pillow was fantastic. The key lime pie is in my top 3 country wide for sure.
