We got a gift certificate to dine here and was excited about the reviews on Yelp. This is a very quaint establishment, the definition of a "hole in the wall". Once I walked in, I felt like I was transported into a little restaurant in the heart of Mexico. The showcase of bakery goods and the smell of fresh baked goods got me into a tantalizing trance.
There were about 8 tables and a counter. The place was pretty packed. We snagged a table and a waitress came by to ask what we wanted. They did not have menus, just a white board up front. I decided to get three soft tacos; pulled pork, chorizo, and chicken. It all came with cilantro, onions, and slices of lime. We asked for hot sauces and they gave us a green and red one. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and authentic. We also ordered a side of chips and guacamole, the guacamole was good but it needed a kick to it; I just added the hot sauce and it was perfect. My hubs ordered a burrito and he loved it.
The food came out pretty quick. It's definitely a no frills type of place and most people takeout. We got up to the counter to pay but before we did that we decided to pick up a few sweet treats. The desserts were so fresh and delicious. I've never had Mexican baked goods before but now I'm hooked. I had the cornbread, sweet bread, and cookie. Overall, it's an awesome little Mexican spot and it's worth checking out.
I can't believe this place is rated so low. Price is super cheap and the taste is great. In my opinion, they have the best tacos in south fl and I've had a lot of tacos. Similar to Taco bus. Authentic mex style. Highly recommend it!
This small Mexican cafe is like a little bit of Mexico in the heart of Coral Springs. Asada burrito was huge. It was stuffed with generous portions of seasoned steak, rice, guac, crema, lettuce, tomotoes and cheese and reasonably priced. It came with a green and a red salsa. Both very good and spicy. Cant wait to go back and try some of the beautiful looking pastries. Service was quick and friendly. Most authentic Mexican restaurant that I've been to around here.
Finally a place I can go to for authentic Mexican bread!!! It's a little gem in Coral Springs.
Great place reminds me of home. Authentic Mexican so reasonably priced you can't stop yourself. Loved the tamales. Fried pork skins (chicharones) and a the staff is friendly. Can't beat the pastries; after all they're a bakery.
Simple and tasty. La Union is an unassuming little place that makes beautiful baked goods and has a small but tasty menu of fresh Mexican food. Everything is reasonably priced, and the service is friendly. They are open at 6am so I can get in before work for pastry and coffee, and open late so I can get my taco-fix after work.
I've roamed all over North Broward searching for a good tamale. My search is over, This place is not much to look at but who cares when the food is authenticly awesome!
Best Mexican In Coral Springs. The place is a hole in the wall but it is authentic Mexican for sure. I grew up in Los Angeles and this is the best tacos I've had in Coral Springs or in Broward for that matter. Everything is made there even the tortillas. The staff was very nice. Don't come for the ambiance just really, really good Mexican food, although I wish they did expand their menu a bit.
A hole in the wall, authentic Mexican bakery and food. Cheap and delicious compared to chain restaurants. Not a lot of space inside so takeout is a good option. They were quick to serve too.
I mean honestly what more can you ask for. The food was seasoned and tasted amazing. The guac and chips could have been a little better it was missing some salt and onions (8/10). The quessbirria tacos were amazing. The burrito was also really good, but honestly might have just gone for the tacos instead and got the rice and beans on the side. The little bakery they had was full of delicious and amazing sweets that smelt really good.

Came here today for light bite for lunch with my friend for my birthday. We both ordered tacos. She got one chicken taco and i got two Asad tacos. I also ordered a small horchata to sip on. I was looking for a great place to enjoy mexican food and saw this place had great reviews. Also it was highly recommended by my friend who enjoys coming here for the famous trés leches. That later she ended up ordering for me to try. We both really enjoyed our tacos a lot. Love that you get the best flavor when it’s the protein with some onions and some cilantro and a side of limes for a little zesty kick! The trés leches was nice definitely different than what I’ve tried. I’ve never had it with what I believe was some kind of strawberry filling if im not mistaken. I also liked the horchata but wish it had more ice stirred better because I can really taste the cinnamon in each sip which isn’t too fun. It’s a hole in the wall bakery that serves sweets and savory bites. Definitely will be back and recommend people to try.
i loved it here! generous portions and the food was delicious. i had the menudo and it was probably the best menudo i’ve ever had. i didn’t try the baked goods but they looked so good! i look forward to trying them on my next visit :)
We had the quesabirrias and tostadas de ceviche, both were very solid and filling portions, a plate with two tostadas comes down to about $5 and it's a LOT of food, it was my first time trying both birria consomé and horchata and they were both fantastic.
We were too full to try the actual bread but the smell was enjoyable enough

Authentic tacos are deliciousness. Homemade from scratch, my new taco tuesday spot. I don't know what is more impressive, the fact of how delicious the food is, or how many gorgeous woman frequent this establishment. 10/10. Highly recommend. And not alot of money is going to come out of your wallet.
it's a small restaurant, very traditional taste and dishes, I always come over here for the tamales, call ahead, to order, they sold-out fast, price is cheaper compared to others restaurants, recommended 100%
If you want authentic Mexican, look no further. This is the real deal. Great food, great service, great prices. The tacos were delicious. I will be going back for more.
