We did a band lunch here!! Jose was amazing!! We ordered 39 bowls and everything was perfection!! Thank you Jose!!
Excellent Pollo Tropical, I lived nearby so I ate here almost everyday for weeks and my order was always perfect—the chicken was never burnt and they were never skimpy with the portion. They may forget the sauce sometimes, but every location I’ve been to forgets. As many fast food restaurants do, especially when they’re busy.
I ordered online yesterday afternoon for an office of 20 people for pick up today between 11:15am and 11:30am, I arrived at 11:15am, and was told that the online system was down and they did not get the order. The manager, Jose German, came over and said no problem we'll get it right away. I showed him the online receipt he and the other employees got to work and had everything ready in 10 minutes. Excellent response, excellent service! This manager should be up for a promotion! I have experienced that problem twice before other facilities and the other managers, said they never got the online order (even though my credit card was billed), simply shrugged their shoulders and walked away. Jose and his staff, are the reason, I'll be back to Pollo Tropical. Again thank you and great job!!
The food is excellent the place is nice and well kept am very very clean. My husband is Dominican and this is his place of choice to eat. I was born in the United States can I enjoy the food as well. We have visitors constantly and we always bring them to this restaurant And they always enjoyed as well. This last time we went We ordered mondongo Mofungo Churrasco steak.And Alfredo penne pasta and chicken. All of it was delicious full of flavor freshly made And steaming hot.
The attendant was awesome, very welcoming and I even got a discount 😉

Let me begin by stating that the Food and Service was outstanding at this location of Pollo Tropical. Here was a brief description of my experience that might have potentially been disastrous if Manager Jose at this location did not come to the rescue.
We had some very close friends in town from California who have very particular eating habits due to health restraints. My wife and I entered the University Drive location and asked for the Manager right away. We explained to him that Pollo Tropical was our last chance at feeding about 16 people with special eating arrangements.
Not only did Jose hook us up with the ultimate plan for that many people, but he made the cost come down so it would fit our budget also. We forgot to throw in a tub of Brown Rice - Jose added it at no extra cost at all. While he was taking our order that we needed picked up about 4 hours later the same day, he was immediately organizing his employees to start working on the meal package pronto so that it would be ready.
I would just like to finish up this post by saying that our event was on May 8, 2021. The event went off perfectly with no issues at all, and it was the perfect amount of food.
Today is the 22nd of June and we are hosting a 16 person Birthday party tomorrow night. We will be absolutely calling Jose up for this catering order with no reservations about it.

The food and customer service is absolutely amazing except today I have a guy with a deep voice wearing a red shirt white tall very disrespectful to his staff talks down on them I've never seen such horrible customer service literally treats people like hes irritated with serving them. I would have given it 5 stars but that guy's just too rude and someone should let him know to stop
The staff was quick and attentive. The portions were not big but probably the best Pollo Tropical I have ever been in.
