First time to Matt’s pizza. Made order on DoorDash, no issues, pizza ready on time.
The pizza has one of the best crusts I've ever had amazing taste honestly nothing wrong with it and costs 21$ for a large pie delivery i am very pleased with everything
I moved here recently and wasn’t crazy about a few of the places I’ve found so far. I’m used to Nassau county/city pizza so coming out East is a different ballgame it’s not the same. I came across Matt’s pizza and the garlic knot pizza was amazing! I felt like I was getting a slice in the city. The garlic all over it was a perfect touch as well. I would definitely get it again.

Price up, quality down :(
If this was my first try here , I would’ve given less than 4 stars but I’ve been a customer for year & years. We took a break from Matt’s for a couple of months due to increases to try others that had promos. Tonight we went back (not that the others weren’t good but Matt’s is a bit closer & promos were over). Ordered the Grandma square. We’ve had it numerous times but tonight it wasn’t as good. I’m a picky Italian, granted but the ingredients definitely were not as fresh. The cheese was a definite mix and you used to be able to taste that olive oil which is sort of the point of a grandma pie. It’s supposed to be as if your nonna made it with olive oil, fresh mozzarella, fresh herbs. Just making a grandma with the tomato marinara being less stirred & cooked minus the paste is not enough to call it a grandma pie. To make matters worse the pie was very soggy too. Saddest part of them chinsing out on the elements is that unfortunately the price went up & $24 for a grandma pie is not justified by any shortages. The surrounding competition is about $3-4 less. I’m starting to get the sense that they’re taking advantage because we all know they get plenty of customers from the apartments nearby. Last I tried all their other stuff is good but I’m not sure if quality & price match what is apparent here. I’m sad, as sad as my pizza was tonight.
The food there is decent, not the best or worst pizza I'd say 7/10 as far as pizza, their garlic knots leave alot to be desired, their other options are about the same as their pizza. All in all local neighborhood pizza and worth going if you're craving a quick slice and are in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here like a few other places I know.
Matt’s Pizza is the most delicious pizza in the world. And I’m not kidding go in and ask for a slice of regular pizza and you will see what I’m talking about. From the crunchy bottom crust to the perfectly seasoned sauce to the gooey delicious mozzarella. I have a sister who is the most picky eater on earth and she agrees with me that Matt’s Pizza by far is the best. And we’ve eaten pizza from here to Manhattan and back many times go in and get yourself a Slice and you’ll thank me later.

Good pizza place. Quite busy place as well. For the first time I'm getting halal pizza! Owner is very kind and generous. Halal foods here. Oh it is a busy place. Busy is good.
Excellent pizza. Grandma Sicilian is my favorite.

Probably one of my favorite places in the area. The name originally threw me off and eventing I passed this place twice a day five days a week for years I dismissed it. This place is underrated.
I live in Mt Sinai and have been suffering through Mediocre pizza and I didn't even know it. I got a pepperoni pie for me and my 4year old daughter to try somewhere new tonight and we agree it's the best pizza within miles. THEY USE PANKO ON THE CRUST !! It's not to thin but not to thick, crispy, the sauce is savory and the cheese is the perfect amount and great quality. Highly recommend and I won't be going elsewhere.
The staff is lovely too but I wouldn't care if they weren't because I love the pizza so much lol
