Used to love this place, but its slipping. Frequently missing sides, and today the food was terrible. WAY too much pepper in the beef and parts of it were undercooked. Pink is ok on a steak, not ground beef.
For the first time, I visited Abbay's about a month ago and had the fried catfish. It was great, and I looked forward to returning again for more. Today, I went for the second time (at 4:00 p.m.) and got the fried catfish again, along with vegetables (Order 14405). I can give a 2 star rating ONLY
One of my favorites places to eat at. The baked fish & white rice with spicy fried broccoli, mashed potatoes & gravy with a roll & homemade sweet tea are to die for. If there are any issues they will be quick to fix the issue.
I just left and I’m not happy. Fried fish should be cooked to order, you can tell it had been cooked and microwaved , the mash potatoes weren’t mashed, nothing but clumps throughout the bowl, the macaroni had no taste. The customer service and food is very dissimilar from what we have received in the past. My family and I used to go a lot but after yesterday we want be back. The cups with our sides in them weren't even half way filled. The pinto beans tasted more like chili than pinto beans and the mac and cheese

Restaurant was super clean! Great customer service! Food very hot but has burnt cornbread. Catfish didn’t taste like real catfish and too salty.
The sides are always good, but the ENTREES are ALWAYS undercooked or overcooked. I stopped going here for like 6 months..Decided to go back today. Why did I do that? I have to go home and put my chicken in the air fryer... SMH. It's wet and undercooked.
