Easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and my wife's pasta was also incredible. The atmosphere was classy and our server was top notch. He couldn't have been more attentive, available, and relatable. I can't recommend this place enough.
Great atmosphere, AMAZING food. A great location with above standard fare and service. Each interaction with the staff was met with professionalism and courtesy. Everything was perfect. A casual, fine dining experience.
This was the best dinner I've had in OBX yet.
Started with the rosemary bread with oil and burrata cheese, both were great starters to share.
For the main course I had the Basil Pesto Gnocchi with chicken which was fanatic. It might have been the most flavorful chicken I've ever had. The pesto was super creamy!
Finished with a slice of ricotta cheesecake with berry compote. It was so rich and delicious.
Great place to eat and drink! Recommend!
We chose to sit outside on a nice day. You can hear the go-kart track next door but it didn’t really bother us.
Started with a couple of delicious watermelon margaritas and the Mussels appetizers. Mussels in the white wine broth were really tasty!
For the entrees we tried a couple specials: lobster ravioli with lump crab meat and pan seared scallops with orzo.
Both were cooked really well, pasta was perfectly al dente and was full of lobster and crab.
The scallops were seared perfectly and came with a lime wedge and red pepper flakes. Really enjoyed it!

Amazing dinner experience! Our sever, Melissa, was amazing. So friendly. Highly recommend call ahead seating during peak hours. We ordered the crab & shrimp penne alla vodka, shrimp al limone (extra shrimp), and the alla Bianca pizza. Portions were huge and delicious! Highly recommend!
Also, the drinks were on point!
Outstanding Italian cuisine in Corolla with a clean upscale environment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Extensive wine, cocktail, and beer options to pair with the delicious food. I would recommend this restaurant to someone traveling through looking for a full stomach at a nice restaurant.
We ordered the rosemary bread with pesto, seafood Diablo, and chicken parm and all were phenomenal. The seafood Diablo was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. Hands down.
Visited this restaurant on our last night and town and out waitress Louisa was as amazing as our food. Food and service was hand down the best food we had since we've been here. Gnocchi was amazing as well as the veal chop
Been coming to dolce vita for years with friends and family. It’s easily our favorite spot out of all the restaurants because of the amazing food and excellent service, it never disappoints. The service is always great, waiters and bartenders are always on it. Food has always been good and the portions are awesome, can always get three meals out of one. Recommend this place out of all the other spots. Great crew and great food!
Amazing experience all around! The food was top notch and the service was beyond top tier. The food times are a usual complaint I see on reviews here, but as someone who eats out and goes to higher end places food times are usually 45-1hr for freshly made food. Whenever my food comes out too quickly it’s usually not the best or top quality. This place does it right that’s really all I can say. If you are in town def make sure you get here and get here early! If you have to wait, grab a drink and step outside for some beautiful sound views.
The price was high. The food was a large portion and tasted good but we were left expecting more for the price. No lunch menu or kids menu. Lasagna was almost $30 and did not include a salad or bread. You had to buy bread at $5 more. Probably won’t return. Too many other great options around.
They have vegan pizza!
I’ve there lately with friend. I asked server if they could make me vegan version of pizza, and it was 10/10. Good and fast service. Definitely a good place to go, and you are not left out, if you are vegan✌🏻
Best Italian cuisine I've ever had. My friends and I frequent this restaurant every time we come to the outer banks. Very friendly and welcoming staff as well! Our server Travis was awesome!
Wow, where did I begin? Our server Travis was knowledgeable about the specials. He also asked if was I sure that I liked spicy when I ordered Seafood Diablo. Which had an excellent flavor with shrimp, mussels, and crab. My wife enjoyed her Chicken Parmesean. Very rich sauce with nice al dente pasta. My kids enjoyed a pizza and plain pasta with sauce respectively. Desserts were also delicious, we had Teramisu, and cannoli.
I have not found a better Italian Restaurant, especially if you want seafood and Italian food combinations. They never disappoint. I had the Seafood Diablo ,which is a spicy marinara on spaghetti noodles with mussles,shrimp and crab. So delicious! The Rosemary bread was warm and steaming,and smelled amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is one of my favorites. They get busy and they have limited seating, so you may want to call ahead if you have a large party.
Absolutely fantastic! This IS the place you have to eat at when you are in Corolla or Duck. Some of the best Italian food I've had anywhere in the world. Newly renovated and has a really nice atmosphere inside. I'd suggest reservations or at least calling ahead before you show up.
Called about 4 and was able to be put on a wait list. We were seated at 7, there were 6 of us. Had excellent Cream of Asparagus soup with crab in it, and an order of calamari for appetizers. A very tasty Ravioli dish, eggplant Parmigiano, a lemon pasta dish and the Seafood Diablo. We finished off with a chocolate mousse and a lemon lavender dessert. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. Totally great experience.
This is one of the best Italian places to eat when vacationing at Duck or surrounding areas. Everything is huge, so come hungry. Comfortable booths or tables to sit at, along with outdoor seating. Didn't get to check out the view outside, but the views inside were pleasurable. Thanks Melissa. Will be back soon.
