Low key atmosphere in the shopping center. Food was average. Would pass on the crab cakes as they were large but very mushy. Blackened mahi was good. Burgers good. Skinny French fries. Drinks were ok Just average over all. Would opt for other options before returning here. Not great but not bad.

Very different spin on bennie sauce, but I LOVED it!!! Home fries are outstanding... not your usual chain restaurant potatoes!!! Drawback was the bartender going on and on about his night out drinking on others' dime... once he told his story four times to staff, he did become less LOUD...wait staff was excellent ...outdoor seating available... saw GIANT biscuit but did not order one this time... next time for sure!! We appreciate food cooked to order! Thanks for the lovely breakfast..

We didn’t plan on coming, but my boyfriend and I decided to stop by and eat. We dined in, and our server James was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We didn’t have to wait on anything. We both got the First Watch just to be safe and it was very delicious. Everything was freshly made, even the fries. Will be back, but we’ll try for breakfast next time!

Fantastic!!! The best breakfast in Corolla - hands down! Great atmosphere, incredible staff, and some of the best food anywhere!!! The biscuits and gravy are an absolute standout. Huge homemade biscuits and a delicious homemade sausage gravy that are some of the best I've ever had. The crab eggs benedict is another dish that is a must. Awesome hollandaise sauce with perfectly poached eggs and a very generous portion of crabmeat. Be sure to get a Chesapeake Bloody Mary. It's damned good. The Grapefruit Crush is a phenomenal option for those not a fan of bloody marys. Absolutely highly recommend!!!

We got the breakfast food. The one classic is just eggs with toast and home fries. Their home fries are pretty good soft inside and crispy and seasoned on the outsidr. The meat omelette was decent . The xxxl platter the bacon was nice and crispy and the pancakes delicious. A shrimp basket was tasty. The slaw that came with it was good. All plates here are pretty large in portion. Food here is decent. We would get breakfast here again. We have been back here several times now and we also got the Philly egg sub. It is stick and cheese with two eggs on top. It was delicious. We got the mahi-mahi sandwich was slightly under dry side. But the seasoning was delicious. Very large piece of mahia mahi fish. We also got the veggie scramble which was very large in portion even though it was on the menu as the "lighter side". They serve breakfast until 2pm. Also you can sit outside with your dog.

Just found out that my favorite breakfast place is now serving dinner. I got the cocoloco chicken with mango chutney and plantains. It was delicious and didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Hidden gem in the shopping area of Timbuck II. Get there early for their French toasts! Small and seating can take time... but worth the wait. Parking can be treacherous. Recommended

This place is fantastic! We had our family of 7 here, each person had a different dish, and we got 2 appetizers, EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS AMAZING! I can't recommend this place enough! Service was awesome too. We all were so pleased with our choice of a restaurant for dinner this evening. We definitely will be returning every year when we visit!

What a great breakfast! We got eggs, bacon, home fries, biscuits, sausage gravy and a pancake. Everything was cooked perfectly, the biscuits were huge and fluffy, the pancake had just the right amount of sweetness in each bite and the sausage gravy was seasoned just right with nice bites of sausage included! It was my favorite! The staff was engaging and friendly, the new owner was great to talk to! Highly recommend! Looking forward to trying dinner there sometime soon!

I am gluten free/dairy free/egg free, so getting breakfast is difficult. First light allowed me to sub my eggs for potatoes with no issues. A+ food

Juan Carlos was an excellent host who greatly added to the atmosphere of the meal! Our food was excellent! The First Light French toast was amazing (although could use a bit more strawberries). We ate outside so I cannot speak to the interior atmosphere. Our table had a smaller umbrella to protect against the sun which meant a couple of us were blitzed with full sun but the mimosas helped cool me off! We were on our way out of town after an excellent week and Juan Carlos provided the cap to our vacation! Thank you!

The restaurant has new ownership since beginning of 23, fresh paint and with a lot of the same good menu items but now open for dinner. I was able to get by there and tried the wings and Korean Beef tacos. Both were very good. The tacos were fantastic. Almost like a banh mi sandwich on a flour tortilla. Considering the closest you'll get to Korean or Vietnamese is Chesapeake this was a welcome change. Others ordered burgers and sandwiches which looked good and people cleared their plates so tasted good as well.

Let me first say that I'm glad I didn't post my review when I first walked in the place. Happy to say my first thoughts were absolutely incorrect. We did get seated outside, however they do not have an ocean view. It was lovely may be partially because we made it lovely we interacted with the staff and they interacted with us and it went very very well. The food I ordered was very good scrambled eggs with cheese, home fries excellent biscuit gravy homemade biscuit is my guess. I didn't get to meet the owner who is the chef as well, however I did meet a couple of the servers and they were fabulous.

Delicious breakfast, they were busy so we took a little walk and returned for our table. The food was really good with fair portions. Our waiter was excellent and our food and drinks came out fast. He even offered a taster for one of the drinks we had questions about. Nice job all!
