I finally got to try it and it was a little disappointing, food was not what I was expecting when it came to flavor and believe I have had soul/ comfort food in many different places and this didn't hit the spot. The macaroni was dry and lacked cheese, but veggies were good, I would give it to them
Great place to visit and eat. I saw this place on the Texas Bucket list and decided to stop in while in Corpus. Met Joe the owner and the staff, everyone was great. I had the fried chicken and my friend had the pork chop. Everything was great, I had to refrain from licking my fingers in public.

Delicious authentic soul food. I hadn't been here in years. Our supervisor took us here for a Christmas luncheon. So, glad we came. It's under new management, but the name and quality of food remains the same. Husband and wife owners came over to introduce themselves and stated they hope to move
