Fantastic local place! All you can eat, home cooked lunch, and very affordable.
This restaurant does offer orders too (hamburgers, etc.). However, we opted for the buffet which had chicken fried steak, Catfish, chicken strips, sides, salads, etc.
Great food, especially for the price. It was busy given all of the local plant workers were coming in. Food stayed fresh. Service was good too.
Would love to have this place close to home. Great option!

This place is like stepping into my Southern grandmother's kitchen. They have the best mashed potatoes I have ever had out . The menu changes around , but they always have chicken fried steak , fried catfish, and a variety of vedgetables. It's not a huge buffet but delicious . The servers do get busy , but they are nice. Not really any atmosphere, there are always plant workers there for lunch , and just a busy place , but we go for the food.
Definitely not a fan of buffets. However, this was good. I was riding with one of my reps and he suggested it for lunch. He raved about the fried catfish and mashed potatoes and gravy. Place was absolutely packed but we were able to grab just about the only available table when we walked in. Service is immediate and Definitely needs to be complimented.
Again, not my thing but for what it is....it's good. The Enchiladas were also worth mentioning.
Finally, probably the best thing I had was the banana pudding. That was great!!
Great buffet lunch! We came in right at closing time (1:45) and they still let us sit and enjoy the buffet. The fried catfish is well seasoned and my husband highly recommends the fried okra. The loaded mashed potatoes were great too, and the salad bar was fresh.
First time here their buffet had catfish, chicken fried steak and enchiladas. Mashed potatoes, okra, rice, green beans, gravy, and beans. All homemade it was all excellent. Wow the best food in corpus christi but theyre only open monday thru friday from 11am to 2pm. Definitely recommend and Definitely will be back.

This has been my 5th visit and tried different things on their buffet by day.
This food is home cooked and awesome they have great desserts as well.
You must come try the food here and I guarantee you will love it and be a regular.
But they're only open from 11am to 2pm Monday thru Friday so make some time for lunch. Definitely recommend
All you can eat buffet for lunch is awesome. staff is friendly. It's more of a home cooked meal.
Nice atmosphere was quite busy but the service was still excellent. Buffet had a couple of great opinions and was fresh. My only complaint is that they aren't open for dinner as well.

Okay my wife and I drove from Rockport to try this place. I myself was not disappointed. The place may be small and the buffet may not be some huge variety like other places. But what they have is good'Ol southern cooking. It is a working man's dream lunch establishment.
Mac and cheese was great. The Dorito casserole was most excellent. Chicken tenders very good. Mashed taters and gravy better than most. Price per person is fair. They got four out of five stars because there was no desert table. But I should have known it was going to be good by the fact folks started getting there twenty minutes before they opened. Within fifteen minutes of opening the place was packed.
It was well worth the drive from Rockport.

Tried this place for the first time today as per a friend's recommendation. They have an all you can eat buffet which had the best tasting crunchy fresh catfish, hot off the kitchen as part of the buffet. The sweet tea was great! If you enjoy eating homemade comfort food, this is something you definitely want to try. I can't recommend just one thing because everything was great! It gets pretty packed with people, but we had no problem finding a place to sit. People are constantly coming and going, which suggests just how good their food is. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You definitely should try this establishment. Make sure to take note of the daily menu options and hours of operation.🙂
I’ve been passing by this place for years and have always wanted to go inside. The parking lot is always full so it has to be good right? Most definitely is. Home cookin on a buffet style is perfect for a quick lunch bite and go back to work.
What a great local eating spot. If you want a true southern meat and 3 eating experience, this is the spot.
Always good food mom and pop feel to the place we enjoy grabbing lunch here when we are both home in the weekdays they are closed on the weekends and not open for dinner

Went in on Wednesday for lunch. Tried some sort of casserole from the buffet. I don't know what it's called, but liked it. Everything else is great. High quality tea, as well.
